How much Etheric Light will we get to purchase from Lord Shits-on-Lawns in Iron Banner?
There's two theories I've heard on how this will work.
We all know Etheric Light will be available at IB 3 & 5, but reports differ as to the amount/method you get it.
1) At 3 & 5 you will be able to purchase one (1) Light from Lord Shits-on-Lawns.
2) At 3 & 5 you will be able to purchase up to five (5) Light from him at each rank for 5,000 Glimmer per Etheric Light (25,000 glimmer O.o). That's ten (10) Etheric Light, but you'll have to do some serious Glimmer farming in between IB grinds.
We won't know which one it is until tomorrow, but that's a metric ass-load of Glimmer.
Which one would you hope it is?
Edit: The part about purchasing up to 5 EL for 5k per Light was something I've been hearing. I'm just the messenger, don't shoot.

4 RepliesBecause it sells at two ranks, I gotta use logic to say we will only get two. BUT on the other hand, we've never been limited on buying things multiple times other than what mats we have. For example, I could buy as many felwinters as I want from saladan so long as I have the glimmer. Never have we bought something, and then been locked out from any vendors. Gonna be interesting to see what Bungie decides. We'll see in about 12 hrs.

1 ReplyIt's going to be one at rank 3, one at rank 5 for a grand total of 6 if you run all your characters to rank 5. What I am curious about is what percentage of your rank is going to spill over to your other characters.

I think it will be a total of 2 per character which is fair since IB you're kinda just rewarded for participation it's the casuals trials

1 ReplyUnfortunately you guys just can't seem to grasp how the minds at Bungie think nor how stingy they are. Available at "3" & "5" means just that. You can buy 1 at level 3 and 1 more at level 5. If not then you could just rank up to 3 and leave iron banner to farm glimmer and buy an infinite amount. Do you really think Bungie would allow that??? c'mon man
