I'm going to start off saying this isn't a thread complaining about weapons or whatever else.
Its just a simple statement in regards to the new PoE weapons that are for the most part useless compared to other elemental primaries.
The biggest downfall to these weapons is that the fallen unit burn(dreg, shank etc.) takes up a "real" perk slot.
While yes the effects are GREAT in the proper situation, bungie hasn't provided us enough vault space to horde overly situation weapons.
Thus was the biggest downfall to a few of the CE weapons to me.
As it stands when HoW dropped there were two end game events released.
Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders.
I find it rather odd that the "Raid" level primary weapons from ToO are more viable in PVE than the end game PVE event dropped in HoW...
Now that I have more light than I know what to do with, I am basically focusing on perfecting my arsenal and collecting my missing exotics.
Exotic farming is literally the only reason I am playing PoE, all of the non-exotic weapons are downgrades to weapons I currently own from previous raids or ToO.
There are a few fixes that I would deem more than acceptable:
1- Moving the fallen perk to where hive breaker is and adding a real perk.(or just make it have "Fallen disruptor")
2- Give them higher than normal stats to make up for the lack of perks(obviously not too much higher to avoid balance issues in PVP)
3- Give us MUCH more vault space to accommodate the massive selection of very situation weapons we are seeming to get.
To end off, I want to make it clear this isn't some PVE player bitching about how ToO has better weapons as loot.
I have gone flawless and could again, this is simply about the fact that these perks make these weapon which are supposed to be raid quality weapons really under powered compared to even CE raid weapons which were mostly weak compared to VoG weapons.

4 RepliesYeah this post could not be more right. I think the weapons kind of deserve all 3 options. Slight Stat boost, add a real perk (shank burn on a arc fusion rifle? How does that help?) And vault space is always a plus . I hope Bungie replies to this!
