Did you see any cheaters in ToO?
Destiny management and Bungie really need to step up and clean up all these cheats happening in ToO. It's getting out of control. Ban them from Sony and MSFT, not just Destiny.
Edit 1) I'm on fiber network so it can't be me so I have to wonder why some of you are so lucky, not getting these cheaters. Maybe I should start playing at 2 in the morning instead of 6 pm to 11pm est.
Destiny will be the the next COD and BF4 all those campers and cheaters are coming here as the new migration.
Edit 2) Reason not to have the selection for "No" in the poll is because cheater will select no. Do you really think cheater will admit they are cheating?
Edit 3) Players are cheating you will be caught. Your log and every activity are available for admin to review. I ran the Super Sports gaming community for 10+ years on Steampower network Day of Defeat and Day of Defeat Source PC game. Trust me we spent hours of recording looking over cheaters game play. I'm sure Bungie can even watch you while you are playing in ToO. I can tell you stories that will blow your mind but that would take too long. Maybe another time.
Situation as such is no different than people drink and drive. If you don't deal with it appropriately then one day some one you love could be killed by drunk driver. I know this is just a game, cheating is a viruses it make you think you are untouchable and can get away with anything. I will leave the heavy lifting to Destiny management or Bungie. I did what I could to identify a troublesome situation!

3 RepliesPeople like to throw the word Lag switch around just as an excuse. Most of the time it's just a problem with the Destiny servers or someone with a crappy connection, which are both completely different from a lag switch.

Only encountered one group of lag switchers, and I don't know how, but we were able to beat them 5-4. It was annoying as hell, but we bested them and knocked them out of trials. Felt great :)

It may seem like I cheated in my recent games if trials. Considering I had 5 games where people just quit.

Faced a couple lag switching teams and beat them. They were garbage at lag switching, either did it at the wrong time or it just wasn't working for them and they were all red bars the whole game. We tbagged the shyt out of these guys after our wins, my friend sent them a hateful message after the game and they replied saying we were cheating lol

Wtf? You guys must be on ps. I'm on x1 and haven't ran into any cheaters. Yeah ppl on my team have gotten disconnected but it's usually on there end cuz they lag out of party chat too.

PS4 - only issue I had was once was kicked but the connection managed to be reestablished and instantly rejoined. I don't know if this was a Bungie issue or what.

Both my fireteam members were ddosd. They were kicked from psn completely.

Got disconnected twice, though that could've been a crappy connection for whoever was hosting, I guess. Apart from that, nothing.

4 RepliesMy team were against a lag switcher that was level 34 along with their team! Now my team was going flawless and we lost 1 match but didnt count. At this point we had 8 wins and needed to win this to get to lighthouse. My team was scared that we were gonna lose but that didnt stop us. We beat the lag switchers 5-3

Two of us got disconnected after some guy on the other team left and joined back about 3 times during the first round. I don't think those were cheaters though, were they?

I typically chalk all that up to bad sever connections. I have player nearly every quality shooter since CoD 2 and never had the issues I've had in Crucible. I thought it could be something on my end so I switched internet providers....didn't change the experience at all. I love Destiny, even crucible..... when it's running smooth. The problem is that it only runs smooth around 50% of the time. Other games still run fine. ...pve runs fine 90% of the time. Anyone else dealing with the same?

I haven't seen any cheaters. I've seen lag. There's a difference between lag and lag switchers.
