Noticed Marathon symbol on PoA in The Maw
Most of you probably know this, but there is the Marathon symbol on the side of the Pillar of Autumn. You can see it fairly clearly in the first cut-scene of the last level, The Maw. It is actually pretty cool, since it is so big. Amazing how many places Bungie sticks that thing, like in between the A and L of Halo on the cover of the manual.

The sight of a crashed and marooned ship with the Marathon emblem on it takes me back to Marathon 2 and conjures up images of Durandal's crashed ship, [url=http://marathon.bungie.org/story/terms/chapter-screens/m2/durandal.html] the security officer stranded[/url], Tycho's crashed ship, and [url=http://marathon.bungie.org/story/sphtkr.html#26]Fatum Iustum Stultorum[/url]. Every time I watch that cutscene, even for the 7,777,777th time, it still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
