The "she never said no"-scenarios are pretty much exclusive to cases when the victim was drunk to the point that they could barely even walk and cases when the victim was drugged. If you're driving drunk then it's your own fault for deciding to drive drunk. If you drive really drunk then it's your fault for not previously making sure that you won't get in the driver seat of a car if you know you're going to get hammered. If you're drunk and agree to have sex then that's your choice. If you get drunk and someone has sex with you against your will then that's not your fault. You said no and therefore didn't give consent. If you're drunk as hell and someone has sex with you without your consent then that's not your fault because the other person should know not to take advantage of someone who's drunk out of their mind. Is it the victim's fault if they get robbed when they're drunk? If the victim didn't give consent then it's -blam!-. I don't get why people find that concept so difficult. [u][b]DRINK RESPONSIBLY![/b][/u] You should take precautions before getting hammered (make sure you have less drunk friends around you) but it's not your fault for being taken advantage of. Putting the blame on the drunk victim because she/he got drunk is like putting the blame on the abused kid because he didn't obey his father.
