No, I don't mean which game has the most realistic blood particles. I'm asking for a game where people only lose body parts when the gun is honestly strong enough. For example, in Gears, that is no where near realistic, a sniper wouldn't blow someone's head up every single time.
In Cod: WaW, the gore is way more realistic, enemies only gib when they get shot by high caliber rounds/shotgun up close/ and explosions.
Anyone have anything more realistic than Cod: WaW?

Halo's pretty realistic; a giant beam of red death shoots through your body and rips up the rest of your team and kills you instantly, but your body remains fully intact.
-
World at War is just intense and gritty. The game gives off this dark tone of war, and the scrifices made to liberate.

COD 5.

L4D seemed to have pretty good blood/gore effects, for the little bit of time I got to play.

GoW 2 isn't supposed to be realistic in our kind of realistic sense, you have no idea what kind of bullet the long shot shoots, you don't know how thick and hard or thin and soft the Locusts' heads are, and you don't know how powerful the gun is (how fast the bullet is traveling). you can't judge a games realism if it's based in a completely different world than ours and most everything is different.
It's still not realistic. Shooting the top of someones head would blow their entire head to bits no matter what caliber the bullet is. Also, a shotgun wouldn't make a locust burst into pieces. But it's awesome anyway!
Posted by: Soul drinker108 gears of war 2. Chain sawing people sure is bloody
Clearly you didn't read my post. And you guys are right, the bullet in Gears 2 on the sniper does look .50 cal or more. But it is still over exaggerated for the other weapons
Posted by: Soul drinker108 gears of war 2. Chain sawing people sure is bloody
yup exactly, people always say the chainsaw kills in gears is way unrealistic, i think they were expecting to see confeti and skittles to fly out, not blood. getting shot in the head by a 4 inch bullet fired out of a high powered sniper rifle would cause the head to pop. the only thing i think is a little weird is when your curve stomp somoene the head pops off, i think it should just look like a crushed, bloody melon, not stomped into oblivion. XD

I dunno, that Dead Island game looks pretty realistic.
