Original idea posted by: xTotalSellout
For those getting a temporary ban, they should get an emblem that they can't change called the Mark of Shame or something that shows they cheated
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA.
Sign here to get this done. This would be more then just something to make us laugh at people. This would allow us to keep an better eye out on whats going on when these players are in a match. Good for the community.
Edit: 50 replies so far. I believe H1N1 the zombie game recently made cheaters have to publicly apologize on youtube to get their accounts un-suspended. We need to punish the people who ruin others gaming experience.
Edit:I agree with the people saying they should also be forced to wear a VERY UGLY
shader. Maybe a custom turd brown one. :)
Edit; do something Bungie. The voice has spoken

Great idea, although they have been doing this in COD for a number of years. It would be just a black square, whenever you got into a lobby with one of these guys/gals it was a mass exodus, leaving them all on their lonesome

Meh. Cheaters should just be booted, period. A lot of the ideas sound great in theory, but understand that for a cheater, the rush comes from breaking the game and angering honorable players - loot and rank are just badges of dishonor that they like to parade around with. Any kind of label will become a distorted "quest item" that cheaters will try to obtain. Any kind of nerf that still allows access is still an invitation to participate, and something new to try and break. Just my two cents. Sure, have some kind of appeals process, but at the end of the day, Destiny is no fun at all if the only thing you're interested in is loot-mining. Personally, for me, the environments and gameplay "feel" that keep me around, because the story is not immersive enough, and there's precious little to develop an emotional connection to.
