I have 2 34's 1 33 that's about to be a 34 I have the elder cipher I have every single exotic gun in the game expect for ps4 exclusives Beaten hard and normal over 50 times beaten hard atheon over 100 times had this game since day one beaten skolas 10 times the other 5 was for fun got perfect score on trials of Osiris but didn't get the exotic emblem I was mad but I got an elemental had cannon so yea I'm pretty sure I'm not bad at the game lol oh and I three yallerhorns and yea so I'm pretty sure I'm not a scrub like you so you should sit down and think about who you're talking too lol

It's like turning on easy mode and thinking that makes you better at the game. Gjallarhorn is OP and Bungie should nerf it IMO. The crying on the forum would be hilarious.

Well, I wouldn't go as far as calling it a crutch, but it definitely is as close to the easy button as you can get. I doubt they nerf it for exactly the reason you mention, too many people would be beyond pissed and crying on the forums and quitting the game.

I've done it legit and with gallys. With gallys it takes 30 seconds, doing it legit takes 15-20 minutes. your rewards? The exact same shit. Sit down kid

With ghorn it is legit, ghorn is not a glitch nor an exploit, does it make it easier yes but to say killing any boss or enemy with ghorn is not legit is just stupid

"It makes it easier" It makes it so you aren't even playing the way the game developer intended. I'm almost positive that they put the boss mechanics in to be experienced. Killing it in 30 seconds skips the mechanics of the fight, and it's cheese.

Not defending Gjallahorn, I have two and I think it should be nerfed. But, saying using Gjallahorn is not playing as the developer intended is just wrong. Gjallahorn isn't some glitched in weapon, the developers added it and they haven't changed it from working as it always has. If anything they intend ALL weapons to be used so it cannot possibly be a cheese.

It's not cheating, as I agree players are using what's available, but I think a weapon that deals enough unboosted damage to an end game level boss to take it down in 30 seconds shows that the weapon itself is "broken". Keep in mind that cheese is not in any way cheating, it's just abusing broken in game mechanics.

I agree with that, and by that definition Gjallahorn can be argued to be a cheese. I ultimately dislike how some items are so powerful it's difficult to justify using anything else. Helm of Saint-14 in PvE is a great example. I don't think it's overpowered but it's use and effectiveness is undeniable and it's really quite difficult to see a reason to not have that amazing crowd control available. It's the same with Gjallahorn. I have it, and it's hard to say "why use it?" when it's just so damned effective.

Weapons of light doesnt affect gally, because gally is procimity wep, you should use blessing.
