Why do people use gally in pvp?
Seriously? Any rocket will do the trick! One shot from any will kill a player, and if you're using an exotic slot for your'e heavy, it's more worth while to use truth.
Okay, lots of replies, so question, why not truth?

I love how you changed the title due to getting flamed. Gjallarhorn is a good pvp and pve gun. Has proximity as hidden perk. Equip with snap shot and you can instantly lock on to target. Wolfpack rounds are powerful too. It's the only rocket launcher that can kill players even if they activate super. Not all players feel the need to run thorn. There are amazing legendary primaries too.

Because a person either doesn't have Truth or because the wolf pack rounds will do extra damage/kills to anyone else nearby but not within the initial blast radius.

6 RepliesGjallarhorn has tracking and proximity detonation seems to be a hidden perk. If you are going to waste your exotic slot on a heavy weapon, go with Truth. If you don't have Truth, Gjallarhorn is good too. But the best option is: don't waste your exotic slot on your heavy weapon. Ideally, you would have a legendary rocket launcher with tracking and proximity detonation. But I think those perks occupy the same slot on reforgable weapons now. What about Radagast?

Because the Wolfpack rounds alone can kill an enemy. So you track and kill one, and the wolf packs do the rest!

I quickswitch to it 10 secs b4 heavy ammo drop. Then switch back. The tracking is nice, and wolfpack rounds is nice.

Honestly I get tired of using exotics for my main sometimes... I used them for so long is just gets old so when I have two legendary guns I'll throw on the jelly because... It's something new in PVP for me. Just saying.

Maybe they don't have truth maxed? You know.you can swap your weapon in use heavy then swap it back? Are there better legendary options? Definetly. Does everyone have time to acquire and roll those launchers. No. That being said you wouldn't catch me using a gally in pvp lol
