It may be too late to make a comeback against all lag-switchers and cheaters in ToO, but the good news is that now Bungie is bringing down that ban hammer against those who DID cheat previously over the weekend! The article says all this information can also be found on the Bungie Blog, but I'll post the link and forum post here for people who don't look at that =) rejoice people, the investigations are underway, Bungie FINALLY is taking action and listening to all of us reporting these idiots. Let's hope that this wave of bans greatly reduces the number of matches against people ruining the game. So if you're reading this and cheated in ToO last weekend, a big F U to you, and none of us will miss you =) hope that cheating was worth getting banned over.

Done with trials

Edited by Sellout: 5/29/2015 1:18:13 PMFor those getting a temporary ban, they should get an emblem that they can't change called the Mark of Shame or something that shows they cheated
-
Too bad it didn't score of the cheaters i faced last 2 games... A holes
-
Screw all the cheaters!
-
I got ddosed at 8-0 today, apparently they missed some scum bags.
-
They can keep an idiot like you happy with a bunch of words... Youll beleive them everytime... Theyre not gonna do a thing about it because they run the risk of banning players that dont deserve it.. Seriously... all this lag switching is your excuse for losing games.
-
What is up with all the cheaters in the Trials of Osiris? I'm close to trading this game in due to no life pathetic lag switchers.
-
This was today. So annoying!!!!
-
Hazah!
-
ok.. Folks.... Someone (who was faced with a cheater showing as immune) was asking me about mods. While I work in the technology field and understand the engineering principles behind a lot of this, I wanted to research and find a bit more information on this as it relates to Destiny. I found the following in my search. A cheat modder providing other cheaters with steps to override being banned. http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/destiny-modding/763737-destiny-banned-because-hack-glitch-cheat-how-bypass-unban-tutorial.html?s=11f01cf3544b9867470868379a67e4c0 What???? Argh!!! *&^^%%$^@ For those of you hoping Bungie will do something to stop or curb the cheaters, I'm afraid we are fighting a battle.
-
How do you spot lag switchers? I mean....Yeah if they have a 5000-6000 points total and bladedancing their ass does nothing (happened to me last weekend twice) you at least report for a bad connnection ...
-
Had someone lag switch 2 times to get revives one guy kept going from green to red while reviving
-
I was fight whit cheater. look one.
-
OH yes this would be excellent.
-
Suck it you cheating, skiless, pieces of garbage XP
-
This is another reason 9 and 0 is a bad idea for super good rewards it brings people like this out to ruin the fun that it was suppose to bring.
-
Good news. And I swear it's like a disease... I mean people are doing it in control FFS!
-
I just hope they can differentiate between the actual cheaters and some people's bad connection at times. I would hate to see the people who don't deserve to be banned be banned because they may have lagged during a couple of games in the trials.
-
Named and shamed would be a nice edition. Good to read about them doing something about it.
-
Not only should they be banned from destiny, but bungie should be working in conjunction with microsoft and sony to have their accounts closed so they lose all online capability with their current profiles. Losing all those gamer points on xbox might actually be a deterrant they care about. I dont mind losing fairly, but being teabagged by a lag switcher??? Grrrrrrrr
-
Great that bungie is doing this, but can someone tell me how people we're cheating lol. I didn't play a lot of ToO last week.
-
Thx you thy should ip ban thm or mac ban so thy will have to buy new ps or x1.
-
bungie said they would do this before and not a damn thing changed.
-
Only way to fix the problem is to Permanently Ban the cheaters
-
I remember back then how Bungie went full force banning boosters on Halo 2 matchmaking up to two weeks so it's nice to hear them doing for this.
-
How do people even find out about these exploits?????
