Calling all Overlords: Clan Recruitment Tips
I've seen a lot of Clans rise and fall playing Bungie games. It's always been an interesting scene.
Finding people to join you is hard when you're starting out. What are some pointers that you would share - assuming you've been able to make friends in your Destiny Clan?

Many clans are competitive, but the thing I enjoy most about Destiny is teamwork. I made Outer Heaven VII when I first started playing but I've never recruited since a few days ago. I've now 17 clan mates and 50 group members. Our one and only goal is to create a nation of players ready to help one another in the battle for Light!!! ... HoW's has made things a little difficult for clan activities. The biggest thing is the three man cells are effective and can leave others out. We are a clan of 40+ members but I as the clan founder have not played with some members in awhile. What works is having communication outside of the game. We use an APP called LINE to setup RAIDS, PoE, ToO and PvP. It keeps everything in good order.

Hello, I have visited clan to clan, but still isn't happy of the results that the members give me. I am often looking for lfg because my clan members don't meet the requirements for so called activity or not online. I am a skillful player that is good in pvp and pve and on the ps4. I am looking for a clan that is good in raids, POE, ToO, communication, and most importantly a friendly, joking environment. I'm not looking for sensitive people who cannot take a joke. I've got maxed characters almost every exotic and the legendarys worth keeping... I hold my own in PvP and know the ins and outs of stories and bounties... I help others with weekly and rewarded game events... I play every day from 3pm to 10ishpm central time... I hope to find a regular crew to run with every day... Try to remember that you are going to be spending a majority of your time playing with these specific people and unless you can consider them friends, its not going to workout in the long run. Dont be elitist about things. We all have different lives and schedules. Be willing to help others even after you have finished your weekly things. I have 10 guys in my group. I could have hundreds but we all know each other very well and always help each other out. I would like to add a couple more to get back to 12 sometime soon. Its amazing the quality of players you can attract if you dont seem to eager to add everyone and put time into the recruitment. Get to know them before inviting them to the group. I have 3 admins along with myself to make a collective decision on a recruit before they are accepted. It requires all 4 people giving a yes or we wont add the person. This has led to us adding members from the Xbox branch of Primeguard after it desolved and has given us a player base that is very active. We normally have atleast 7 online every night. Good luck with the recruiting guys... Let me know if anyone is interested in SoA. EDIT: Dont request a group join without PMing me first.
