How do teachers in Germany teach World War 2. Im an American, so all i here is we win every war[spoiler]except Nam[/spoiler]

I would assume they teach it the same and tell the students the past is the past and you can't change that.

5 RepliesGermany likely teaches their school kids the truth; that the Naz1s were evil and committed terrible atrocities, and that they aren't the "Master Race" they wanted to be remembered as. remember, not ALL Germans supported Hitler. hell, some of his own command plotted to assassinate him and end the war earlier!

They teach it in a way that ingrains it into the student's brains that the Holocaust is something that must never happen again. Unless I'm mistaken, it's illegal to deny the holocaust there.
