Why is it so damn hard to get etheric light
Why is it that it is so difficult for a pve player to get etheric light, I despise PvP it's dominated by one gun and lag switchers, it isn't any fun to empty an entire mag into a person and not even make a dent in their shields, the PoE is damn near impossible unless it is a group of 34's that don't need the etheric light, c'Mon bungie pull your head out of your asses and pay attention, the mechanics in the game are far too difficult for the rewards you get, maybe ease back on it a bit. I know there are gonna be some haters out there looking to troll so keep your opinions to yourself unless you have something constructive to say.

8 RepliesSuper easy! I have 6 sitting in vault and all 3 characters level 34 and multiple guns at 365. You must not be grinding it out properly. You can get 6 from POE events and at least 3 for ToO. That's a total of 9 per week more than enough for all characters to be 34 and level weapons.

1 ReplyI feel you OP. Most players out there don't have the time to run three high level characters and take them through all these events to get max Etheric Light every single week. I've gotten a grand total of two Etheric Light since HoW came out. One from a Nightfall and one from this week's 34 PoE. I don't have the time to do much more, or the skill to go 9-0 in trials for max rewards. I'm 34 on my main thanks to those two Etheric Light and the armor from Variks. My alternate is 33 thanks to an ascended exotic and a pair of PoE boots I got from a Judgements Chance. You will get a lot of flak in this thread from hardcores who have the time to do all these things (and somehow still have leftover time to come on the forums and rub it in your face) but take solace in the fact that the crowd of "elites" on this forum do not represent the majority of Destiny players. I personally feel the Lvl.32 PoE should pay out one Etheric Light per week per character. All of the fireteam-required challenge modes should pay out at least one Light, while keeping the armor/weapon core payouts the same. That is fair and will help players get over that barrier and into Lvl.34 so they can run the harder modes if they have the time.

Hard? I have 6 etherics at the vault, and have everyone at 34,and 3 maxed fatebringers, 3 vocs, 1 verdict, 1 Blackhammer... And didn't do PoE on Hard this week yet... Getting to 34 is a must for all pve players this week guantlets, chest, and Just one etheric light is enough to be 34, get good

Depending on your skill you are GARUNTEED 5 etheric light per week, per character.... 1 each from lvl 34 & 35 PoE (2) and 3 if you go flawless in trials of Osiris. and then x 3 (if you have 3 characters) is 15 motes of light and ALSO you have the possibility of getting 1 per nightfall. So in total you can get 15-18 etheric light [b]PER WEEK[/b] Why anyone need more is beyond me.

The mechanics are easy. Damage Burn Goblin Burn Shields Damage.
