I must really suck at this game - TLW from across the map
Hey guys,
Since eveyrones complaining about everything I was hoping to get some attention too.
I just unlocked TLW and i swear it takes me 3 shots to land 1 head shot from any non-shotgunnable range, but for some reason I get 1 headshot killed from across the map regularly by users of this gun, what gives?
Also, is it possible to armor hack in this game? I see smidges of health go down on the enemy as i unload hawkmoon into their torso and face, on some people (in skirmish particularly...practicing for ToO), when most players go down in 2-3 shots.
Also blink is bullshit lets get rid of this bungie, blinking around the map is no fair because its the only move that can avoid my firebolt grenade.

My best method is to not go for headshots unless you're tapping the trigger. If you're using fanfire aim for the chest, You'll get 2 bodyshots and a headshot for the kill. For long range just tap the trigger. Much more accurate.

2 RepliesBlinking is totally fair. It's a class ability. It's not OP at all, and only pays for a certain playstyle. Because it doesn't fit my playstyle I don't use it. The players you're shooing that don't take damage are lagging. For TLW, you can have amazing range, but you have to remember to pace your shots. You can compete with some ranged weapons in their own comfort zone, but don't expect to do that while auto firing

7 RepliesIt's not just TLW. I have often wondered about this. I can be running across a map, there's a shot and I'm dead and when I look at the top right of my screen it will say I've been killed by "Felwinters Lie" or some other weapon that shouldn't have been able to do that. There won't have been any red on my radar but yep, one shot from miles away. I can walk up to someone and rail on them and they walk away with a laugh. I get one shot from another planet!. Mind you, the other day I got killed by a blade dancer. It told me I had died yet the blade dancer was, in real life terms, about 10 metres away!. I just wondered how the blade range had suddenly got so massive to kill me when it wasn't even close. Oh well ....

1 Replygetting one shot killed is mostly caused by the huge lag. you believe you're getting one shotted but actually you got domed 3 times without even noticing it.

5 RepliesI get excited when I see Blinkers. Most of them tend to not know how to use it or get overexcited or panic. I enjoy Vexing them as they enter Blink and as they exit the Blink all I see is what's left of their bodies slowly disintegrate. I even wave sometimes. Then there are those who have polished their Blink ability. That is terrifying. So, just like when you ask a girl out, you charge in instead of back pedaling and pray for the best. 9/10 they have a shotgun in their hands so you know you have the cushion of distance and being out of Blink Shotgun range. As long as you know maps and common routes you can gun them down before they even get close.

Were you under fire? Was TLW user the only and I mean only person that hit you? Chances are you got hit buy a randoms body shot from a missed snipe and then one shot by TLW.

The problem is you just unlocked the gun. It becomes 1000x better once you get PB and the last word perk.

Aim for the high chest instead of the head and you should start landing more crits.

1 ReplyIf you haven't dumped exp in to it then duh it's going to suck The only exotic that isn't trash "out of the box" is Ice Breaker since no-backpack or w/e it's called is auto unlocked, everything else on it is just icing on the cake. All exotics are either terrible or average before their exotic perk is unlocked.
