So it happened we need checkpoints for PoE
Used Destiny LFG to run PoE with my 34 Warlock. Found two 33s and they invited me.
It was cool for the whole match. We didn't have to wipe too much. We started to have a little trouble with the last boss. And decide to wait for cooldowns.
Up until that point I got the most kills out of our group and we didn't say anything bad to each other.
Suddenly the man child said "guess what?" I said "what"
"Chicken Butt".....the I was booted.
Now it is a video game so whatever but I wasted all my time for nothing. If I had a checkpoint I could have just started with a group of people who aren't douche nozzles.
If Bungie is worried about people skipping to checkpoints like we already can in Raids they should just make the rewards only available if you completed each round and use a scorecard like ToO.

Or just let people join the last mission easily. I tried killing skolas last week. I'd get to the end, we would wipe a couple times then players would just rage quit. Then I'd have to search for a new team to join me. Pain in the ass.
