I was doing Vault of glass hard we had a level 32 on our group he was melee killing supplicants firing rockets in the Bubble
I have a friend that is level 31 but he knows raids like the back of his hand
so now that i think about it before house of wolves you could buy level 30 and now you can buy level 32 they did this so people could catch up right so now that i think about it what if you got a level 34 to do Crota Hard what if they bought there way to level 32 and then did nothing but Prison of elders so people constantly ask for level 34 for raids even though you do not need a level 34 for VoG hard with a maxed Gally so just saying people that level 30 might just have more experience than the level 34 and the level 32 Truth is just see how they do on a few runs if you go Lfg then determine if you wanna keep them in the fire team or not
edit: Grammar soldiers took over it's all lost abandon thread !!!!

1 ReplyI will judge them by their spelling and grammar though.

1 ReplyAll I care about is if they're at level for the activity. Hard VoG? 30+. Level 34 PoE? 34. Nothing is too hard if you're at least at level
-
I don't judge people skills by their level. I accept 30 and above in VoG hard mode sometimes 29s. But if you had this game forever and can't level up you may be doing stuff wrong and need help before you do a harder activities. However I am not taking a level 31 into level 34 PoE because you are nerfed to hell based on how the game works.
-
8 Replies9 out of 10 players on LFG are going to be inexperienced. No matter what their light level or load out might be. Otherwise they wouldn't need LFG.
-
1 ReplyI'm only a 31, very experienced in VoG, haven't made it far because of the lack of the cities support for VoG veterans...I was at home there...now just back here it's not the same man, it's just not the same, aka I got sick of the game after dark below only barely play now and left for about 5 months because of the grind
-
2 RepliesHigher light level will equate to a more experienced player most of the time. Just because you ran into a person who didn't know VoG, despite being 32, doesn't mean that higher level players aren't going to be as experienced or skilled.

1 Reply*** their I judged this post by use of grammar as an indicator of the capability to have the intelligence to make a valid point. Didn't make it past the title.

I'm a lvl 34 Hunter but I can solo up to Crota in the dark below raid! I've also completed every PvE mission at least once. Hurray for being a day one player and not a Christmas noob!

1 ReplyAlways judge a player by their character's appearance. If they look good kick them immediately. They aren't allowed to look better than me.

I personally run off grimore points for a first impression. Then I'm open to be proved wrong by seeing folks play. I've seen lvl 2's destroy In Crucible, topping teams and making 34's jaws drop.
-
If a player is level 34, and another is 31, I know that the level 34 has played more content, and has more experience.
-
Don't tell me what to do! I will judge people by whatever metric I deem appropriate! Which, BTW, is their choice of shader and class item. Gotta dress to impress folks!
-
Daaaaamn! Ever heard of punctuation?
-
I don't, I've already experienced some truly awful players at max level throughout various stages of the game.
-
One of my "friends" has got to be the worst player ever! And he is 34. I took a 32 into Trials before inviting him.
-
ran a Crota NORMAL yesterday and almost no one had rockets and they were 33 and 34s. it was truly tragic.
-
you make a valid point. (and an even longer sentence)
-
Well you gotta judge by something for a first impression?
