Dont know if this actually worked or if RNG was just being nice that day, but a friend of mine was doing Crota on normal 3x a week for so long trying to get Black Hammer. One run l told him to equip a shotgun instead of the usual lB or other random sniper. So he equips his swordbreaker and what do you know, Crota goes down and my buddy finally got his Black Hammer. Now l have no clue if having his shotgun out actually was a factor in it all, but it was kinda weird that the one time he has a shotgun equiped on crota cp he got what he wanted.
