You know what I'm going to say...
...go on lfg or recruitment forums if it works for me it works for you, takes me 5 minutes to find a team.

Er, 5mins sounds like bs to me after the hour of waiting i did not too long ago before giving up and -blam!-ed off to play a better game.
-
yea these guys that say it takes 5 min i think it takes 5 min for them to flip through and find peeps they have matched up with before. My money says it is not even helpfull unless you use it regulary and know peeps on there. If you dont know anyone and dont have a Galjahorn or whatever other weapon there asking you to have or whatever other fruity requirment they have for you to join. There alll the same usless for anyone who has not done the mission yet as everyone seems to add the old Must have done before and know what they are dooing. Its like trying to get your first job ever after coming out of school and all the job advertysments read must have experience. I use that last little comparision because i think everyone should be able to relate to that.

You know what I'm going to say... ...put in matchmaking. If it works for me it works for you, takes 10 seconds to find a team.
booyah
Nah, too many trolls and afk ers you can't kick people for bulliying ect.. Booyah not so much
Nah, too many trolls and afk ers you can't kick people for bulliying ect.. Booyah not so much
And you can't get kicked at a boss so the host can invite friends when it's matchmaking. And you can't get kicked before rewards because the host is a dick when it's matchmaking. And if you get a crap group, you can easily re-queue instead of going back to forums for 20 minutes when it's matchmaking. And when someone quits at the boss, you can queue for a replacement instead of going online and hoping to find one when it's matchmaking. Should I go on?

I have used it, I hate posting what amounts to a personal add to play a freaking video game. I shouldn't have to jockey my phone and controller or waste my data plan. I have yet to be given a legit reason how optional matchmaking hurts anyone. Ppl that use it know the risks. I love weekly matchmaking, use it often. Much prefer that then dealing with posting on a forum.

You don't even have to post, just find someone who has posted message them 'inv' and 9 times out of 10 your in a fireteam
-
9 out of ten times if you meet there requirments and you gotta admit alot of em are requiring Galyhorn or elemental primary. At the least its "Must know what you are doing and have completed before"

It's still a huge waste of time for something that can be done in game. There is no good reason not to have an optional matchmaking system. I play games to relax, not search the web for players. Or send out message after message. This isn't match.com No game I have ever played before has ever done this. I have played more FPS or MMO games than I care to admit. They all have it. How does an optional matchmaking system negatively effect you? It doesn't, but it does benifit more ppl as it allows us to access content, and you know play a game. Not surf the web on my phone.
