thanks ill try to clean it up

Good job, my two suggestions are keep practicing and try to have less space in between your riffs (idk what to call them). There's a bit much empty space in the beginning, but good job anyway. [Edited on 11.10.2008 9:59 PM PST]
Posted by: Tom The NinJah Ah cool then. Very cool. I was watching that while I was working on my own recreation of a song on my Ibanez.
i love nez's i play bass and my next one will be a nez but this thread belongs in the off topic section but no one will see it there sadly.

OP, I used to play guitar, hung it up two years ago because life got in the way unfortunately. The only critique I have (and don't take this as detrimental to yourself or your skill) is that you should get a backing track (or MAKE one) and play over it. I say this because the first half of what you are playing doesn't seem to have much context with regards to halo, but the last half definately does. I didn't recognise anything Halo'ish from the first minute. Play over a backing track and I reckon that the start (the first minute) will "come alive" more. Seriously, please don't take this as a flame in any way whatsoever, but advice. I hope you re-do this with backing. GJ nonetheless. Jim.

dude watch the double posts and bumping cause that will get you noticed but in a bad banned kind of way

When did you start taking lessons?

yeah I had one for my first guitar. I recently got a les paul custom which is absolutely amazing. i would recommend it if you like les paul style guitars.
-
You are really talented for your age. Keep up the good work. The part at 1:42 was nice. You redefined the Halo theme, and did it well.

thanks
