Sign of you want some type of ability to save your progress with your fireteam.
Edit: Surly there can be a work around to curb check point sharing. I have no interest in grabbing a checkpoint in POE but it would be nice to pick up with your team where you left off.

They're called checkpoints motherfuçker!!!
-
Bumping for Checkpoint at boss on 34 and 35 only
-
They removed checkpoints so you scrubs would stop checkpoint saving.
-
Would rather have people down an hour on something rather than 10 mins at a boss checkpoint every week.
-
There's an easy solution to this and I am surprised Bungie didn't implement such a system. A checkpoint system that works similar to the trials of Osiris "punch card" which records your win streak, could work really well for the 34 and 35 PoE. Once you enter the Prison, you get a "token" on which checkpoints get saved. You can only enter or continue the next round if you have completed the previous round, irrispective of the team you completed the previous round with. Most likely you would continue the next round with the same team, but if someone else has played up to the same point, they could join you if need be. No jumping in on round 5 if you have not completed rounds 1 - 4 on your own "punch card".
-
Then you don't do any work

I do agree with checkpoints in some cases, both myself and another guy got kicked last night at the final round and couldnt get back in. It is getting less rare that I get kicked back to orbit for no reason, but it does still happen But then I also see it being abused like the raid checkpoints etc
-
Scrubs would just skip to boss EVERY TIME. no checkpoints! !!!!
-
NO NO NO NO. We finally have a PVE activity that requires a team to stick it out and not cheese the living hell out of the game. No wonder people are crashing and burning so much.
-
NO I like it the way it is, and j would like to see all checkpoints removed from raids. You do it in one shot or you don't do it.
-
No thanks, like it this way.
-
No, people will just be looking to pick up boss checkpoints. A horde mode should be a test of endurance.

signed.. make it so that EACH individual has to get to the place they want to start every single run. E.g. if I am at round 1 and leave, I get back to level 1 next time - so I can't jump in on another team on round 4, if I haven't played round 1-3 ON THE SAME STRIKE!... e.g. strike 1, lvl 32 POE, I reach round 3 and leave, when I enter 32 again, I start on round 3. I cannot join a fireteam on 32-35 on another course at whatever round they are at any point. Can only join a team, if i left a strike at same round. if this makes sense.

Edited by The Bolt 76: 5/27/2015 10:21:52 AMI agree only if you play every round. No jumping in and grabbing round 5 checkpoint. You complete a round and checkpoint saved, you only get the checkpoint the entire fireteam has unlocked. So if you are on round 4 and a member has to leave and the replacement only has up to round 3 done you start at round 3. Mainly I want this because I was booted on round 5 and couldn't get back in. And no checkpoints on level 28 matchmaking.
-
No, other random will easily pick up near end checkpoint.
-
PoE is too simple for checkpoints. And the 28 is random each time you go in. Checkpoints on rounds would allow you to go in until you got the buff you wanted.

Signed. I know a lot of people are complaining about how hard Qodron and Skolas are (Qodron does feel a bit OP) but it's end game content and supposed to be a challenge. I have no problem with spending time learning the mechanics and practicing to beat it; but when it's gone on for hours, it's midnight, and you have to be up for work at 6am then it would be nice to pause things so you can come back to it later.
-
They should give us a check point that requires the 3 fire team members that it check pointed initially, that way it can't be passed around. Only the same 3 people in the same team could continue or else you start from the beginning.
-
Checkpoints would be awesome, and a system that would let only the players in the fireteam that created the checkpoint to continue. I was pretty pissed because after failing to kill Skolas last night we have to do it all over today. The first rounds of 35 are not that hard in my opinion, but still.
