I think we're both trying to achieve the same thing essentially, just in ways that are more convenient to how we want to play.
As far as clans, if they were baked into the experience maybe. Spent enough time in guilds on WoW to know how awesome the relationships can be, but the drama that can be involved in them too.
I appreciate the compliment, but as far as starting a clan, it would be too much like a continuation of my work day lol.
I've told everyone on my Destiny friends list I'm always down to run whatever if they see me on. But like I said, when I work a 14 hour day, I'm not looking to organize runs or LFG when I get home.
For me, matchmaking is perfect. Yesterday I queued for 28 PoE and we grouped up after and breezed through the 32. Added both after.
I just don't see why just having that option isn't available for those willing to trust who they're teamed with. I also don't get how they can't at least make what they have more functional.
Why wouldn't they give the matchmade 28 team the option to stay partied up and go straight to the 32?
It's something so basic and so right in front of your face when you finish it... How can they not see that?
Anyway, this is a great debate and fun thread with a lot of genuinely heartfelt reasons for wanting matchmaking and I believe it deserves more than a token corporate response from DeeJ.
I appreciate your passion for the LFG and clans and enjoy this discussion.
