Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Destiny is desperately in need of a trading system between players. Its getting beyond irritating to see my friends getting weapons i want (such as hawkmoon and gjallarhorn) while we're level 32+ on all characters! Vice versa of course, i have been scorned for getting the mythoclast too many times while three of my friends at the same level as me still do not own a single one! (we all have owned the game since the very beginning and have every DLC by the way..) Im thinking something along the lines of dead islands trading system, simple and easy. here's how it goes: 1. level 20+ walks upto another level 20+ in the tower/reef social area and invites to trade by targeting them with the right analog stick. A screen will pop up for the other player and say something along the lines of " (player name) wants to trade" with a yes and no option underneath. 2. minimum trading agreement is in effect! (to stop level 20-30 players cheating). im thinking something like an exotic for another. 3-5 legendary weapons/engrams for an exotic. this cannot be turned off unless both players are level 32+ (long enough for players to experience the game and not find what they want.) and both agree to turn it off! 3. vault style page appears with two sides, one with each players name over it. players must then choose what they want to add to the trade. If a player does not own a DLC. all weapons and gear from that DLC is locked and cannot be traded. along with story mission weapons like "murmer"/"vestian dynasty" or gear players have locked to stop deletion! 4. finally. both players must again accept the trade once all loot has been revealed for trading with a "are you sure your ready to accept the trade" popup to make sure your not accepting something you dont want to! if anyone does not accept, the trade is instantly canceled and all loot will be safely kept. I firmly believe this system will allow players the final satisfaction of getting the weapon they want without the constant grinding of nightfalls and raids with no end in sight.
