I sold my original Witcher gear HELP
I made the mistake and sold the gear early on before I knew about upgrading. a lot of people are saying that it is the best gear in the game, will I be able to find more of the original witcher gear?
[b][u]FIXED[/u][/b]: The armor is unnecessary after the beginning, only for one low level upgrade.

In my experience so far there's only 1 upgrade for the original gear you have and its crap compared to higher level gear. I'm level 20 right now using enhanced feline gear and its the highest rating I can currently use.

Same... I'm hoping that we'll get to go back to Kaer Moren and find more armor. But I'm not sure we get to upgrade our own armor. Just the other schools armor that we find.

I did the same. I'm early enough in the game that I'm going to restart it. I made some really poor choices!!!!

13 RepliesYou can craft better gear later You have to find the schematics for it though It's light / "cat" Witcher gear Medium / Griffin Heavy / Bear Original witcher gear I never bothered with

They're not talking about the gear you start with, it's a tier of gear. You find diagrams from the bear, cat, griffon and viper schools. That's the stuff you can upgrade
