I was on a hiatus and missed Felwinter's Lie, what shotgun should I go for?
I'm trying to figure out what setup would be best for ToO moving forward (assuming a good shotty drops for me), all help appreciated thanks.

I stopped at aggressive ballistics, shot package, rifled barrel and kneepads. Great roll, ascended to 365. Of course in true Destiny fashion, within a few games of IB I get the Matador to drop. Fortunately I managed to reforge it with the exact same perks so that's two great shotguns I possess now. Edit: and today I got Felwinters, being spoilt now :) I'm not sure whether to reforge it or wait for Party Crasher, will probably stick it in the vault for now. Edit 2: following day I get 2 Matadors and a Found Verdict from VoG, that's just how this game works right? Wait for ages for one then get too many of them.

Matador and Party crasher are both top notch weapons. would try for one of them with accurized ballistics, Rangefinder or Shot package, Rifled barrel or reinforced barrel, and perhaps luck in the chamber or final round.

3 RepliesThree days straight in Crucible and I haven't seen either shotgun yet. Got the sniper rifle four times! And of course in true Destiny fashion, a friend came back online this morning after two days for a random game of control and got Matador 64.

Judgement IV is really good but I like Swordbreaker and Found Verdict. Both great. Depends on what your situation is.

I use a judgement vi with shot package, range upgrade and knee pads. It has the highest impact of any shotty (with a few exceptions like felwinter's) and kills from crazy ranges

1 ReplyI see triplewrecks shotty. It's judgement 6 Shotpackage final round and better range and it shoots faster than felwinters with about the same range

Any shotgun with similar impact and range will be better, Judgement VI, Two to the Morgue, Her Courtesy, etc. are all better than Felwinter's (and Matador) with the same range, almost exactly the same impact, and twice the RoF. Just do what I do and buy whichever you think looks best (I like Red so rerolled all New Monarchy weapons) and reroll it for perfect perks, it's hard to go wrong with so many great choices.

Matador, I googled how to get it, then my first skirmish I received it! And then I only had to reforge like 5x to get a great roll.

4 RepliesGet a Matador 64. Roll it until you get Shot Package AND Smallbore. Enjoy a Felwinteresque shotgun that kills from very long ranges.

In normal crucible my friend went beast mode with the party crasher.
