Level 25 tips?
Hey guys I've been trying to get more legendary items, but haven't gotten one in weeks. I've opened over 50 rare items and haven't gotten a legendary. Also haven't ever picked up a legendary item and engram. I can't do lvl 26 or higher raid or strikes for better rewards. So I don't know what to do.

All you have to do is get your vanguard and/or crucible rep up to rank 2. Since the took away the commendations it will be easy to buy legendary armor. I jumped from level 28 to level 32 day one of house of wolves. Just do bounties everyday and it shouldn't take more than a week.

Run the Vanguard Roc strikes or Tiger strikes and earn marks to buy better gear. You would need to be rank 2 in vanguard for this. You can do crucible as well and earn marks that way, and buy armor at rank 2, or go to any faction and spend the crucible marks there.

Run vanguards . It will be a truly painful grind to get marks and commendation. But at least its a guaranteed approach to buy better gear.

1 ReplyRun Vanguards or Crucible. When you get to 24-27, everyone stalls because they have to earn marks and ascendant materials. If you have the dlc you may be able to buy higher light armor now and that can bump. But like everyone else, it's grind or whine. Good luck

16 RepliesJust buy the dark below dlc and ill carry you through normal crota. Youll have like 2 legendary armour at the end of the game.

Bounties to build up rank to get a package which may contain legendaries or doing the strikes and slowly accumulating marks till you have enough to buy new gear

Try grinding the ROC strike playlist. It should give you a couple vanguard marks per completion which can be used for buying legendaries in the tower. Crucible is also a great way to get legendaries, as each game can give you 8-12 crucible marks.
