Best Legendary Primary for Trials of Osiris
I was considering taking up my exotic slot with Patience and Time for ToO this weekend.
So I was curious to hear the community's opinion on the best replacement for my Red Death or Last word in the primary slot.

1 ReplyI bought the fwc hand cannon and rolled it with luck on the chamber, increased reload, and final round. Pretty beast. There's also a legendary pulse with the same stats as red death that you can reroll. If you want to use a legendary I suggest picking one with stats you like and rolling it until you're happy.

1 ReplyI don't think you really need to use an exotic slot on Patience and Time in all honesty, unless you're intending to use the invisibility perk. There are better PVP snipers and far more useful exotic primaries.

4 RepliesI know youve said The Messenger fires too slow but its literally the best primary AR is....an auto rifle HC is mediocre Scout, have it but havent tried it nor have heard good things But The Messenger....omg Same impact as red death and twice as much RANGE & STABILITY! Only flaw is fire rate but once Head Seeker perk is unlocked its a 2 burst on practically any hit point I sniped a 2 burst kill with it from C point in Shores of Time to B point... That says alot for a damn pulse rifle

Payment VI is a three burst and you only have to hit two head shots for a kill.

Badger ccl if you had the right perks or the DeadOrbit Luna scout rifle with full auto may work too TimursLash and illWill HandCannons can two headshot kill players with agility builds on warlocks and hunters (Be aware that the Ram helmet adds armour, and a Titan all armour build can survive the two 95 damage headshots) luck in the chamber, final round and a quick reload perk are worth considering. I've seen the new TrialsOfOsiris pulse rifle do well, but you'd have to have gotten it from a package

Timurs Lash is pretty much a 2 shot on any hunter unless their armor is maxed out. if you've got any damage buffs like Final Round, Luck in the Chamber, Reactive Reload, Crowd Control, it's a 2 shot kill if they are active on any guardian without an overshield. The things a monster. But if you like red death, go for Three Little Words. If you haven't already got one it might be hard to come by cus the crucible vendor doesn't sell it anymore. Things a monster. Get the same impact as red death, better stability, better range. Slower fire rate though :/ if you're accurate the thing is ridiculous though. The Scholar is a 2 shot when Reactive Reload perk is active, so I've been told. Have not personally confirmed that. Red Hand is beautiful. & you can now buy that from New Monarchy & reforge to your liking. Love explosive rounds on it, especially because now they don't screw up your precision shots & they also allow perks like Outlaw & Triple Tap to actually work now. Explosive rounds on Fatebringer aren't completely useless anymore. well those are my favorite legendaries to take into battle, even though I'm always using an exotic primary, sometimes I switch for the heavy & use one of those. But I came across Wolves Bane & Infinite Theorem(trials heavy machine gun), & I no longer switch out anymore. The Theorem is the best heavy I've ever used in PvP. & I dismantled Jolders when I started using wolves bane. Thing is a monster.

There are weapons that are good all around, but I like using the weapons that suit my play style and surprising people who use only the same weapons as everyone else. Last weekend I ran my MIDA in ToO, it caught some people off guard becaude they thought I'd be an easy kill more than likely. The last game I played last week, me and my friends played the, No Land Beyond, Vestian Dynasty, LMG heavy game, and we almost won sadly enough (we weren't really trying to win, I was doing 360 no scopes mid map for the first 2 rounds for crying out loud lol.) So honestly, after my little rant, play to your playstyle, with whatever weapons you perfer and bring your friends. So much fun.

2 RepliesClosest to Red Death is Three Little Words (old crucible vendor PR) I enjoy using Oversoul Edict and Praedyth's timepiece Dont go for a hand cannon as they are all a shot slower to kill than the exotics.
