No. He's not. Please quit thinking everyone has your skill level.
We each had a ghorn, maxed at 365. All 3 of us were level 34. 2 of us had a black hammer. Everything we tried, failed.
Edit: We gave up, ran out of time. Certainly won't be trying again any time soon. I definitely will walk away from this defeated and broken down.

Edit: this was posted the very first week of Prison of Elders, when the burn for Skolas was solar
Edit: just beat him a few hours ago. Thanks for all the helpful people in the comments below. Glad to see there are some good people in the community after all :). No it was not easy, but eventually it worked out (after much trial and error).

9 RepliesWeapons of light seems to decrease your damage so try again make sure you have 7 shots and a synth ready each. If you have a titan put blessing on so you dont get OHKO. I did it with three 33's. Add me on PSN or private message me and ill run it with you for reset. :)

I beat him once with two buds (2 Warlocks at 34 & 1 Titan at 33). I then tried today again and could NOT get him down. I'm not sure what was different but it just didn't happy. I'm kinda bummed out about it since I'm missing a chance at the exotic bounty but oh well. This week I will be defeating him 3 times this week. Man I hate that I didn't finish!!

Dropped him to 50% with Black Hammers only and then bombed him with Gjallerhorn. No strategy, just stay alive.

Hes easy pop synth WAIT 5min and Then go in. Run left shoot servy and unleash on skolas. Keep ghorning him + pop synth to kill him Ignore everything else. After that mobs despawn and you can dismantle mines.

However we had to run flawlessly and had to dis arm a few mines before finishing him off. Not a brag post just wanted to make sure people knew it could be done with at least one hunger. It wasn't ascended yet either FYI.

Pop heavy ammo syn. Wait 5 minutes. Start boss fight. Run to left and kill servitor. Hammer Skolas and pop more heavy syns. Done.

Kill Skolas > before start every team member need full ghorn and sys ready to pull, titan with super ready A) team run on the left B) 2 people kill transparent ball for bonus damage,, meantime titan set a bubble with weapon of light on the balcony (very important because time is everything) C) everyone run in bubble and unload a shirtload of fire on boss .... D) boss waporized , take you time for mine and collect revard NOTE: you must to be in position with skola still far from you if you are late and skolas is already too close to the balcony (he will jump on) just wipe .... so you keep ammo and sys

I joined a team last night. They told me what to do seeing it was my first attempt and went left dropped weapons of light with glasshouse on. We downed him in less then 30 seconds. Wish I had video. I still had 3 rockets left over

7 RepliesI'm not sure if he's talking about Taniks. I beat Skolas by myself in less than five minutes, and I only used an unmaxxed thunder lord.

If everyone is a 34 and has gally and there is at least 1 titan it is far from impossible. Go left, kill the survator pop the bubble and everyone sprays 7 gallys. Pop a synthetic and repeat. By the end one guy will probably have to push to the first capture point while the other 2 finish off skolas. I've tried twice and beaten skolas on my third attempt both times.

I have done it a few times. The first time I did it with no wipes. The next time it took an hour, quite a few wipes and heavy ammo synths. YouTube videos might help. But fellow Guardian, I am sure you can beat him.
