No. He's not. Please quit thinking everyone has your skill level.
We each had a ghorn, maxed at 365. All 3 of us were level 34. 2 of us had a black hammer. Everything we tried, failed.
Edit: We gave up, ran out of time. Certainly won't be trying again any time soon. I definitely will walk away from this defeated and broken down.

Edit: this was posted the very first week of Prison of Elders, when the burn for Skolas was solar
Edit: just beat him a few hours ago. Thanks for all the helpful people in the comments below. Glad to see there are some good people in the community after all :). No it was not easy, but eventually it worked out (after much trial and error).

When I beat him first time, I got two guardians on my team and they was allready beat him twice so we was have reydy plan to go with "dream team" (1 guardian from each class) but on my second run with other team we've got 3 hunters (no bubble) and one of us haven't gjalla or black hammer, that was painful run, we played about two hours that last part.. Suprice 2 x WEASEL and 1 x BEE on ten seconds, ok now I give it up

Took me 3 different teams and about 5 hours. Had 77 deaths by the end. I felt slightly accomplished... very relieved, and won't be doing it again probably. 34 is fun and less stressful

3 RepliesBeat him once, but then after collectively trying for seven hours, we kill him only to die from a mine that was deactivated the same moment the timer expired. You're right, its not easy but that can be due to the many unexplainably convenient deaths, or mysteriously spawning reaver captains that only show up on radar just before they one shot you in the back, or that suddenly gain the ability to shoot through walls. Skolas is a total cheese fest.

I chucked on lower light gear for more intellect to increase super recharge rate and forgot to change back. Killed him twice (first time a mine got us even though I waited longer than the previous mine before leaving defuse area) before I released in the Treasure Room using Etheric light to ascend a helmet. So a 33 and 2 34s, got him to about 25% before 1 left to defuse the far mine from the left side using Black Hammers only. You do not need a Ghorn, he is easier to stun lock with Snipers

Start with 2 black hammers hitting him consistently. Have the 3 guy using gally. If you have a titan use weapons of light it helps a lot. Get him down to half then have eberyone pull out gallys and spam him. Trust me...a few tries and you'll have it. I just looked at some vids on YouTube and it helped greatly

You have to get him just right. Make see you all all 7 rockets and can use synth Run out go left. All turn the corner together so you can get round before he spawns. Use A solar shotgun on the servator. If you were quick enough he should be a reasonable distance away. Start shooting. If he's quite close wipe and retry You need the distance or he'll teleport up and stomp you so don't waste the rockets Just keep firing duck behind cover synth and repeat. I know it's a pain the first time we took about 2 hours just on him but second time we did him first try in 40 seconds. You get it and laugh how simple it is when you do. Good luck.

Just another infinite bullet sponge. It looks like Bungie thinks we LOVE to shoot at the same enemy for hours. I'm really disappointed by PoE. It's not a matter of easy or hard. It's simply not fun at all.

1 ReplyHow I mean truly how do you not complete this. I did it with two warlocks and a hunter and then 2 hunters and my self as the warlock. I don't get how it's that hard for people. We had one g horn as well the other guys used hunger and thunder lord.

I find it funny that the only thing keeping last gen players from beating it is inventory load times. I used to have destiny on last gen and know your pain. The first thing I noticed on next gen was how fast inventory loads. Lol

10 Replies1. Everyone uses a synth in airlock 2. Everyone waits for another synth to be off cool down 3. Run out and go left, kill the servitor then fire all gallys at him and use a synth. 4. When mines come, 2 people continue to fire at skolas while one person makes their way over to the mine. The 2 peopt should kill him, and then you get the rest of the mines. This better help as I took 10 minutes writing it on my crappy phone
