You know what kills me, there are a handful of people who use LFG sites and the boards here who are decent people. The majority just insult and tell you to get friends and this is who we are suppose to be happy to group up with? Really?
That is why match making is easier, you don't have to deal with disagreeable folks who say they are social and really don't understand the meaning.

Majority of pick up groups are fine, no issues. If you always have issues, then you are the common denominator.

Edited by SwankyButters: 5/26/2015 6:48:07 PMNo, I've actually had an OK time finding people. That's not the point, I'm talking about all the rude people here insisting Optional Match Making doesn't work, etc. The biggest issue, it's just a pain in the ass and I don't have the time to dick around looking for people. Oh and there is a dickish thread of people who are so insistent you have this or that weapon or whatever. It's a tad annoying.

Nothing but rude elites telling the guy to get good, how does this help and why would anyone want to use the forums to join this kind of gamer. Matchmaking is needed and the forums need everyone that wants this to fill them with posts.

I agree. At launch I got directed to the recruitment page so I could try VoG and Nightfalls. Which I did. Took me forever to not only find a group willing to take a new raider through but a team that actually ran it without doing some half assed method. I sent ppl friend requests and joined a clan. Those ppl no longer play. Now I am supposed to start that process all over again and continue to do other things than actually playing the freaking game. I have a Mic, put me in matchmaking I use the team chat. I could really care less if anyone else does. I do not need to make a strong personal connection with ppl to play a video game! Why does how I experience this game matter to anyone but me? Add in optional matchmaking and you will see that ppl will start being social in the game instead of on some internet fourm.

Ditto, just look at some of the "helpful" replies.......
