Not saying that you all do by any means. I used to. Quite often actually. But then as I got older, I realized how degrading it is. Towards yourself, and the people who preform. I started very young, probably when I was in 6th grade maybe? Maybe that's normal or whatever, but it was because of a porn addict father that I was exposed to it and thus an innocent curiosity was created. Sure, they make a living do it, and a pretty decent living at that, but in such a degrading and inappropriate manner. It affects your character, the things you say, the way you view sex and the whole idea of it, and it destroys your mind as well. It causes your brain to constantly conjure up sultry thoughts at the sight of an attractive woman. I guess I just decided that I don't want that stain on my character, and I believe it's even more addictive than marijuana to be completely honest. And in no way am I saying "I'm better than you because I don't watch porn anymore." but more or less curious as to some of the other views out there on the topic. Some of the nicest, brightest, and successful people in the world immerse themselves in porn behind closed doors. I guess being a Christian and deciding to take my faith a little more seriously has a good bit of weight in the situation as well. And over time, I've realized how pornography has torn apart relationships, families, and individuals. I hope you understand that by sharing this and attempting to discuss it in a mature manner that I don't judge or expect to be judged in return. I don't care what your faith is or what you have to say about mine. Because I'm sure more than a few would agree that this is a serious topic that many people would be ashamed to talk about. I'm not simply because there is no need to be ashamed of things in your past that you have moved on from.
