PoE 35 Flawless- Lighthouse Alternative
So I'm seeing a lot of people upset by the exclusiveness of the Lighthouse. I understand it's existence and even feel more of a pull towards the ToO because of it's existence. Problem is, I will likely never find a team good enough to go the distance (finding a decent team LFG has proven hard).
So I was thinking there should be an alternative way for players like me who focus on PoE. Why have an exclusive room for PvP players only?
Edit: To be clear, I'm suggesting a place equal to the Lighthouse geared towards PVE players. In general it is far easier for PVP players to play PoE and get the gear and much harder for PVE players to go to the trials and get that gear. It's not about the gear so much as it's about equality between PVE areas and PVP areas.
Edit: I understand the lore has nothing to do with PoE, which is why I'd be more than happy for a separate area. I don't care about getting to the Lighthouse more than having a social space for PoE elite.

I lfg'd for all 3 of my characters and went flawless each time with 1 passage each. It wasn't too difficult.

Glad the PVP'ers got something good in this DLC for a change and it gives them a good long grind. I love PvE but still can't get my guys to try PoE on 32 so I might have a bit of a grind myself! Good for you guys. Enjoy the special space and post some more vids!!! [spoiler]No- I don't want or need an "equal area" because I blow at PVP. You win some and you lose some with DLC depending on what you prefer. I'll sleep fine without and hope (dream) of another raid to drop![/spoiler]

Where if you destroy Atheon (hard), Crota (hard), Skolas, etc, then you gain access to a trophy room in the VoG, PoE or Underworld with cool trophies, easter eggs, secrets and a chest. It'd have to be equally hard to get to though to keep the fairness the same. 9 flawless wins in ToO for Lighthouse.. Maybe a flawless raid normal/hard and 32+ PoE run? Reply with [u][b]good thoughts and suggestions for trolls will be -blam!-ing destroyed[/b][/u]

3 RepliesThey shouldn't do it because the lighthouse is Osiris themed and belongs to Osiris players. Now I'm not some elitist dick who thinks we rule the lighthouse but I feel that you should at least reach 9 wins flawless or not and get in but not allowed to have the chest of champions.

2 RepliesIf pve players also get access to the osiris chest, then a pvp player should also get access to the prison chest. Otherwise, you have just created a ridiculous new problem.

8 RepliesWhere the fook do you whiners come from? So now there needs to be a special Lighthouse type thing for PvE? Nightfalls, Weekly Heroic, 2 Raids and now 3 different levels of PoE to play through for max content. All of which offer opportunities for Exotics and gear that can be rerolled to be sweet. And if you're done with all that by Friday, why not cut your teeth in PvP and just TRY ToO? Jesus Christ. Why are you dumb bastards acting like it's two separate games? It's all one game. Play all elements of it and benefit from it or take these POS topics and keep them to your damn selves.

1 ReplyIn response to your last edit, it's not even a social space. I don't know why people think this. You can go there by yourself or with fireteam members that also have access, but there aren't already people running around in there like the tower.

No because the advantage of the choice of class primary and its dmg type is well deserved by anyone who does win 8-9 in a row. If you are that worked up by not being able to get this practice until you are able to.

What have we ever gotten for defeating a raid flawlessly? Nothing but a lame PSN trophy. I'm all for crucible players having a high level activity, but damn give us raiders some exclusive love

The lighthouse is just a glorified treasure room and u get to go there bc u made it through a flawless passage. Poe has its own treasure room at the end of completing it. It's practically the same thing... Treasure room. So, no u shouldn't be able to do Poe and get access to that treasure room and then also get to go to the trials treasure room.
