Here's how little they care, strait from a horse named DeeJ's mouth.

Ha! Get rekt, Sols!

Reading all your responses and some name calling along the way. You seem to have your head deep inside BUNGIES back side. Hopefully your getting paid to spew that garbage and your not that dense!

How is that not caring? He has a point. People use LFG. Why not Bungie forums? The tools are provided, so why not use them? As long as LFG/#Recruitment forums exist, you can put together a fireteam without matchmaking.
-
I agree. But this can take a long time. I say we keep asking for matchmaking. Constantly. But in the interim, join/start a clan. Add every good player you encounter. Soon you'll have a ton of available friends for nightfall etc.
-
Wow, it's people like this guy... Yikes!
-
-
Because LFG and random match making produce the same result. It just takes a lot longer to use LFG and I hate wasting time.
-
Sorry Murdius, you know I am a fan, but it has been my, and many others I know, experience that it takes 20 minutes minimum to put together an lfg group. With that, it is even longer and harder (*that's what she said!) to do it if you don't have a gjally. It took my son an average of 30 to 45 minutes when he didn't have one. Yes, the tools are there, but they simply aren't as efficient as optional matchmaking would be. Completing the weekly has been a much easier task for me since they added it.
-
Only takes me about 5 lol
-
Well damn it... It only takes this one single person 5 minutes to find a team. That's a solid argument against matchmaking right? Jeeeesus..
-
I see what you're saying...LFG is frustrating as hell in my experience, but it seems that the Bungie philosophy is that those sites are there, so why do we need matchmaking? Also, never explain yourself for your opinions! You are welcome to them when responding to any of my posts...even if they differ from my opinion!
-
You can still do it with matchmaking implemented in all game modes. It's a copout and makes no sense.
-
Because when I work all day and go home, I don't want to work to play Destiny. They're pushing their app and #recruitment to generate downloads and page views.
-
Then you should have made some friends over the last 6 months
-
Is posting really so hard?
-
Really? How long it takes to get a teammm..
-
Is having optional in game matchmaking really that hard?
-
Sols, there's no use in arguing or trying to convince some people. Everyday I'm amazed at the stupidity I encounter. It's actually a little scary to think there are so many on this planet.
-
Actually, it probably is. You try coding a game as large and complicated as Destiny.
-
You realize it's already in the game, right?
Oops.
-
No, I know that matchmaking is already in there. But to make it optional would probably be quite a bit harder. I'm not an expert on coding so I wouldn't know, but it seems like it would be quite a bit harder to implement.

Edited by SKILES85: 7/27/2015 8:21:01 PMIt wouldn't have to be optional. Get your fireteam together before starting the event. Or you could start and have bungie match-make a team just like the weekly strikes. I almost always do my weekly strikes with in game matchmaking. I do many nightfalls with random LFG groups. LFG is no better at getting a good team for me. I would love the option to do nightfalls with in game matchmaking. I'd rather play with my clan but if they aren't on, Id rather just hit play.
