For those interested here's the deal: You obtain the bounty as a random drop after killing Skolas on lvl 35 or the level 34 boss of the week. Steps of the bounty are: 1. Take the elder cipher to Variks and choose a weapon to work towards 2. Obtain a queens cipher by opening the small side chests in the queens Crystal barrows on any PoE challenge mode (lvl 32-35) this is a random drop 3. Return the queens cipher to variks 4. Wait for Variks to summon you (takes 48 hours from turning in queens cipher) 5. Kill bosses in the prison of elders to earn points. 1000 points are needed and challenge bosses are worth more (lvl 32-35 are worth a good deal more than lvl 28 bosses) 6. Return to Variks to collect your weapon
