Shoulder charge auto locks. Throwing knife doesn't. Shoulder charge is a kill. Precision hit with throwing knife isn't. Throwing knife is on a cool down. Shoulder charge isn't (admittedly it's not available unless one is at the beginning of a sprint).
Why can't throwing knife be a kill if it lands as a precision hit? Can this please be considered to be a buff?
Ps, if the concern is with hunters running around with throwing knives, getting kills constantly and not having to deal with the cool down because of the "knife juggler" perk, set the buff so that only a precision hit with the throwing knife that is using the "incendiary blade" perk [in place of the "knife juggler" perk] will be an kill.

2 RepliesYou were comparing two different categories. Shoulder charge isn't the Titans melee. It's part of the perks. The Titans punch ability is a simple punch without any distance. The hunter is far more cheap on PvP any day.

10 RepliesBecause hunters already have backstab.

Throwing knife is awesome if you know what you are doing. Burst fire your weapon and throw, it's a kill. If a titan is slightly injured while running at you, even if he is in the process of a shoulder charge, throwing knife will stop them.

3 RepliesThrowing knife has range tho

2 RepliesThey're completely different things. The strikers equivalent to throwing knife is Storm Fist. Shoulder charge is an ability.
