Just wanted to let you all know the Jewel of Osiris handcannon is amazing in pve (mine has solar) but it does very pitifully in pvp with only 86 critical damage. So yet again a promising legendary hand cannon still can't compete with the two shotting exotics.

Tlw is definitely better, I got both. Tlw does more damage and fires quicker.
-
What the hell are you talking about? I used it in crucible right after i got it and wrecked everybody. Its a great gun for both pvp and pve.
-
1 ReplySo? It fires very quickly and I'm eager to see how it preforms with the stability perk.

Edited by GIfullshot: 5/24/2015 6:47:04 AMThe damage ratio in set on a different bar in pve then it is in pvp. I don't think it would work comparing the two For example a golden gun in pve might go through all 3 hits and not kill a major on the same level as the player in pve. In pvp that same golden gun is a one shot kill on just about anything.

1 ReplyActually it's just fine. You know why you feel it sucks? Because it's on par with the vast majority of weapons and not OP. Therefore it sucks cuz all people use are OP weapons
-
2 RepliesThat's funny, I've got a rare polite denial that does 94 damage with critical hits.
-
It all comes down to the person, not the gun.
-
All legendary handcannons are 3 shot kills. Except for Timurs and Ill Will against 0 armor warlocks and hunters. Bungie won't break the impact/RoF archetypes for legendaries, so don't expect to find any non-exotic weapon that deals more damage and fires faster than other types.
-
Its good. If exotic handcannons are your crutch and therefore every legendary is bad than its not the gun, Its you

It's nice to look at, but a Red Hand IX with better perks can outdo it. Supposedly the PoE Handcannon can come in any element, and, in my opinion, has much better perks.
-
Edited by BSaren: 5/23/2015 7:08:40 AMBecause the stats (RoF/Impact) are identical to Fatebringer, Red Hand, etc etc etc. Were you expecting it to 2-shot, or something?
-
That's a shame. It doesn't look bad at all statwise, but I'd imagine most other HC's can be more or less set up with the same perks. I was honestly expecting its perk design to be unique and centered around crucible play. Still an amazing looking cannon though. Also, are you me? It's funny, I remember using Ave's VistaStyleBuilder years ago to replace the start menu icon on Vista to this steering wheel looking emblem. Even changed the orb's background from blue to that shade of red too. I KNOW I have a picture somewhere...

Tlw is 86 per crit unless the the hip fire bonus kicks in. So that's not that bad
-
1 ReplyCorrect me if im wrong but thorn does 84 crits i think? then the damage which is 28 or 35?
-
3 RepliesIt has the same stats as the fatebringer...
-
1 ReplyMax it out
-
2 RepliesWell yeah, thats why its not an exotic... Though i do agree there should be a non exotics game mode
-
Mine came with perfect balance and it's fun to change things up.
-
It's just a re skinned red hand with less rounds and slightly more range Both weapons are more or less the same with the same rolls
-
4 RepliesActually timurs lash can compete. Pretty sure there is another legendary hand cannon with the same impact as timurs. So there is at least 2 hc's that can compete with them. Sucks that jewel can't tho
-
3 Repliesso does my Scholar (Adept) scout rifle, and i can be farther away ;)
-
4 RepliesSo what you're telling me is that jewel is basically a red hand IX?
-
13 RepliesHawkmoon has a 60% chance to not be a two shot headshot. The last word either needs to be hip fired or glitched to be a two shot headshot. That thorn though...
-
That's thorn damage, just gonna say
-
I still want it soooo bad

8 RepliesHey my hun gun is called "Jewels of Osiris" not with adapt
