I thought it'd be fun to have an exotic-level mod for the Stranger's rifle, like a bounty, for those who kept it.

Definitely! I think having quests for both weapons would be really neat! It was sad when they both became obsolete almost immediately after acquiring them. I wish more guns could come out that look like the Khostov and Stranger's Rifle.
