ItalianMafiuso: Try switching characters. I have three and for some reason only my first two can exchange. They're warlocks and my third is a Titan. Either way I believe Bungie is fixing this.

I tried it all. Even w/o items usually the menus just show areas darkened. There just isn't anything there at all about ascendants.

What material are you bringing with you? He only does ascendent shards I believe, so if you have them in your inventory you should see options...

YES!!! Grrr! I NEED Ascendants now that publics, daily heroics etc. do not give them!! Correct: SPEAKER IS NOT DOING MATERIAL EXCHANGES AS MENTIONED. We'd like this fixed or make them attainable somehow. It's not like "The Speaker" has that much to do. Xür does HIS job!

Make sure you have the materials you ate trying to trade for on you. He only exchanges acendant/radiant shards for energies, vice versa, ascendant /radiant shards for motes, I don't remember what you trade for glimmer
