Two tips to automatically dominate in the Crucible
Tip 1: Be a hunter and use Arc Blade
Tip 2: Have the legendary hand cannon Thorn
Seriously it is beyond me why Bungie refuses to nerf these two ridiculously over powered and imbalanced parts of the game. It is out of control and makes the multiplayer a joke. Someone please explain this to me?
EDIT: Hardee har I said legendary instead of exotic. Such funny.

4 Repliesfew pointers by yours truly: 1. Crucible =/= competitive 2. Iron Banner =/= competitive 3. Trials of Osiris =/= competitive ...point is, the PvP in Destiny is NOT competitive (...and i doubt Bungie inteds it to be). the PvP portion of this game is imo meant to be FUN above all, therefore there's no real need to pERfECtly balancE it out. some say Bladedancer is OP, some say its Striker, some complain about Sunsingers, Gunslinger then is WAY too OP with it's ranged Super, Titans bubble is most definitely OP and so is Voidwalker with his Space Magic see, thing is, i've played at least a bit of PvP with all three classes, and i can really assure you that none of them felt anywhere near being OP. look at my stats if you don't trust me: [spoiler]...do you think my overall K/D would be below 1.0 if any of the three classes really was OP?[/spoiler] i main a Hunter and while i agree Bladedancer's Super can seem TOO strong at times, however ONLY if TIMED WELL (which doesn't happen all that often) and then wen you play against a team of very good PvP players, they'll be able to shut you down reardless of your OP setup. [b]TL;DR[/b] - playing quite a bunch of PvP recently brings me to a conclusion that 99.9% of the times you feel some Class or Weapon is OP you simply encountered someone WAY better than you ;)

I get more kills on average with my Nova Bomb of GG than with Arc Blade. Arc Blade is pretty easy to counter. As for Thorn...lol plenty of people out there who can outgun and outsmart a Thorn user. You must just be godawful at Crucible if you have an issue with either.

Yes, because as we all know, a 0.2 player will become a 2.0 player as soon as they equip a certain weapon. Listen, the fact that exotic handcannons are arguably too strong (or at least have been, haven't had time to properly evaluate the HoW stuff to see what's best) is pretty well-known. These kind of posts are just hyperbolic though.

I main a hunter but you want to know an easy way around that...don't use your supers as panic attacks. I've played crucible with all 3 characters. I always save my supers for heavies or if I hear another super go off. If I see a titan hulk smash or a void walker nova bomb me, there is no way I'm getting out of it. If I hear a blade dancer go off guess what I have ready. A super. 1. On voidwalker. Hears Bladedancer, start dancing so he Rambos in, then kaboom nova bomb to the face. 2. On titan FoH. Same rules apply as 1. 3. On titan defender. If I'm a defender I'm rocking armor of light. Let's see who lasts longer in my bubble with a shotgun and helm of saint. 4. On a gunslinger. If I hear blade. I get my distance as far away from the sound and pop my super. With good aim he'll go down easy. 5. On sunsinger. If he kills me, oh well. That's 1 kill on me for him. I'll pop my super and destroy him back by raining nades from hell when his super is over. 6. On bladedancer. If you can't beat him join him. Two can play at that game. You blink bladedance me. I'll blink bladedance you back.

And Thorn, not legendary, actually it's exotic. With that being said, a person who is really good with thorn will be really good regardless of what gun they use. That gun requires a lot a skill to be lethal with.

4 RepliesHunters dont bother me do much but I am starting to feel some type of way about the thorn after today. I was getting shot so fast in the head I couldn't hit them sometimes. I would even sneak up behind them and they would turn around and some how dpam head shots like it was nothing.

Arc blade is easy as hell to counter. the only time they are strong is if they manage to get a jump on you. If they have to run at you at all for a decent distance they are not a problem. Learn to shoot bro. Thorn is countered hard by red death. and also by strafing well. I move and jump a lot. making it hard for people to land 2 head shots. Really imo most people are bad anyway and can't 2 hit consistently. Also you have barely played crucible and you struggle staying even in most matches. I really don't think you are qualified to speak on skill or strat.

Dont see what all the fuss is... whats point in having Exotic items nerfed, they are supposed to be that little bit more powerfull hence the [u]Exotic[/u] tag... As for hunters Blade Dancer.... I have been taken out sooo many times during Arc blade by other classes, in fact im sure a titan (or two) has sucker punched me to death during Arc blade so lets be honest.... it aint all that.... golden gun on the other hand ROCKS and should never be nerfed :)

Enough nerfs. Get better or don't play. Hunters can be stopped so easily and thorn is countered just as simply.
