I can see it now... True Khvostov "I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds..." Attack: 999 Rate of Fire: 100 Impact: 100 Range: 100 Stability: 100 Reload: 100 Magazine: 100 Perks: *This weapon can switch between Solar, Arc, and Void damage. *This weapon deals Kinetic damage. Never Alone: This weapon can be equipped with other Exotics. One Sight to Rule Them All: The perfect sight. Persistence: This weapon grows more accurate the longer it's fired. Wrath of Khvostov: Killing an enemy with this weapon has a 9,001% chance to cause a nuclear explosion, killing all nearby enemies.

    Well, I don't know about that lol I don't know by Rate of Fire: 100 do you mean 100 RPM (which is incredibly slow), or that the bar is full, in which case I believe the cap is 900 RPM. I'd like to think the upgraded Khvostov might be in line with other weapons. (though I'm 100% sure you were being silly on purpose because I mean that nuke chance haha) Lol 9001%

    Khvostov 7G-03 "I am a weapon of war..." *This weapon does Kinetic damage Stats: -Fire Rate:65 -Impact:22 -Range:14 -Stability:33 -Reload Speed:52 -Magazine Size:How ever much the original had. Upgrades: [Minor Perk Tree 1: ] field choke; linear compensator; smart drift control [Main Perk 1] Persistence: This weapon grows more accurate the longer it's fired. [Minor Perk Tree 2: ] hammer forged; skip rounds; extended mag [Main Perk 2] Battle Mode: kills with this weapon increase its fire rate, reload speed, and stability all for a short time. Stacks up to 5 times. Wears off after 10 seconds. Switching weapons makes the buff wear off instantly.

  • What kind of role would it fill, and how would it stack up against guns like the Thorn, Suros, and Vex Mythoclast?

    Role(as I imagine it): A mid-to-close-range auto rifle that works as a counter against melee/shotgun based enemies that get in close. As for how it would fare...I imagine it would do pretty good, but you never know for sure unless you try it out in-game.

  • Very true. Gotta test things before you can really say how they'd do. I like the idea though. If it's ever implemented, I'd definitely use it. A new weapon class, like SMGs could be a good addition to the game that could do similar things too. It could be light weight, adding to your agility when you use them, but they could also be very good at countering shotguns.
