I was thinking of buying the witcher 3 but I really enjoy Destiny and can not see myself playing another game. On the other hand, I feel guilty for playing Destiny so much and want to try out another game. So any long-term Destiny players own witcher 3 and are you enjoying it?

Edited by MightyJonE: 5/27/2015 2:28:34 PMAs a destiny player, I was very disappointed there was no shooting or spaceships in the witcher. In fact, it's not even set in the future - it's set in the faraway distant past, possibly around 1982, I think, judging by Geralt's mullet hairstyle! #thisissatiredotcom

I couldn't get into Destiny. I tried it, didn't like it. Traded my copy in. Witcher 3 on the other hand ... that is a game i'm loving.

Edited by MightyJonE: 5/23/2015 12:44:09 AMThe witcher will take a good few hours to get into. It's quite a slow start and can be abit overwhelming when you're finally dumped into the open world, with a fair amount to take in, learning the systems But it's a quality game, though perhaps not for impatient people who prefer simplicity and immediacy

4 RepliesU can't move 5ft without having a half hour conversation, I can't get into it.

The witcher 3 is awesome, only one game comes close to it this year called Bloodborne. Destiny is shite, full of repetitive recycled content. Do you enjoy chasing that carrot on a string. The witcher 3 = Highly enjoyable masterpiece Destiny = frustrating repetitive content

If u love rpg's then diffently get it it is bad ass but yes like other say its hard yo play both right now
-
4 RepliesI love it. Hard to play both though. I'm always thinking of playing one while I'm playing the other. Lol. It's one of the best RPGs out since Skyrim.

I bought it but havent played it yet due to HoW, its a game i had to buy now so i wouldnt put it off later.

It is amazing, and I never played the first or second and I completely understand the story and what's going on

1 ReplyGot it the same day and can't put it down. I will say this tho you will be completely lost if you did not play the second game and sometimes it can make you Rage quit because of the difficulty in the swordplay. Also the pc version blows away all of the consoles in looks.

3 RepliesEdited by Korrupted: 5/22/2015 7:47:25 AMYeah dude I got the Witcher 3 and house of wolves same day. Obviously being a destiny fan I ran through the new missions and ran through PoE twice but immediately after that I did the nightfall on all three characters and got two Etheric light putting me at 34 on day one so i said screw this and went onto the Witcher. So far have yet to come back.

3 RepliesI'm currently playing both games. Both are extremely different. Both are very good. However, The Witcher 3 is still very different. While I highly recommend the series, make sure it's for you first. Also, I'm moving this into Gaming.

Loving witcher 3 :) it's been great still playing Destiny but not as much
-
I absolutely love it. The Witcher 2 was good, but this is the brutal fantasy RPG I've wanted for ps4. It's hard, but it doesn't punish you for dying like From games, and I love the combat mechanics. I'd give it a 9/10.

1 ReplyI'm playing alien isolation until my damn copy arrives. Shoulda gone with the two day shipping.
-
2 RepliesI love it! Imagine a game with a real open world, a STORY line where you can interact with just about everyone you meet. I world full of beauty but with a darkside as well. Walk into a pub and order a drink, something to eat and then have a drunk challenge you to a fight...........you have choices good ones and bad ones that determine who and what you are and will become. Every desicion affects game play and may come back to reward you OR haunt.

4 Repliesi want to play Witcher 3, but im playing FFXIV currently too and i dont think i have time for 2 MMOs and Destiny
-
There's a bit of a learning curve but it's a really good game. Not spent a couple of hours on it so far.
-
1 ReplyI started it this morning as im bored with house of wolves already and im glad i did.If you like rpgs you will love it.Its very pretty with loads to do,unlike destigrind.i will continue to dip into destiny as i like shooters, until the division is released.
-
Not really interested in it, so I'll just wait for the GOTY edition that they're bound to release sooner or later.
-
2 RepliesIts a single player game with no multiplayers features. So it can wait in my archive. I assume in 3-5 months when i'm burnt out on destiny I can begin playing and enjoy the msaaive amount of free dlc.

It's a great game. Can't say that I've heard any negative feedback about it.
