The Celestial Nighthawk (IS DECENT) revision

okay so I was so excited to have dropped the new DLC hunter helm from a 34 run through. After fully leveling it and trying it out in a fair amount of activities, it's just not cutting it. The Celestial Nighthawk seemingly provided a pve gunslinger build that was more useful than the three little shots you can get off in pve. This however is not the case... Keyhole is incredibly situational of a perk, and even with combustion I simply do not find myself killing more than two enemies with the one shot I get off, and who cares that it hits for 6x if it's killing the same yellows that normal consecutive golden gun shots would gain? My question is why? It looks so exciting, it's great to have, but the fact that it's essentially more useless than the Arachnid helm is pretty embarrassing on Bungie's part....who is balancing these exotic perks? I'm disheartened :/ I was really hoping that keyhole would be more beneficial towards dealing damage towards lines of enemies, rather than getting just one easy shot off on an ultra.. Which feels a little lackluster to me idk why. edit: this is my opinion: I was most excited for this piece of gear, especially when it had the name exotac angel and essentially provided the Icarus perk. Yes I'm aware of the 6x stack dealing more damage than three shots, yet I don't feel that the potential the nighthawk held for pve matches my expectations. Have fun calling me bad for not enjoying the nighthawk as i do other exotics that stack nicely into creative build mechanics; something like radiant dance machines with MIDA in pvp, sadly you'll find that I don't give a -blam!- about you. EDIT 2: So the Nighthawk has been slowly growing on me, while it still is somewhat lackluster in PoE challenge modes (I find this due to the combustion perk not stacking 6x as well), it does excel entirely at level 28, I find myself now running gunfighter. GG is up enough for me to kill a yellow that might otherwise need Ghorn used on. I also find myself dying a whole lot less, as my shot saves me 100% of the time (in terms of vs majors). I was initially playing trying to perk big game over multiple targets. While I have started to be proficient at this (at times I manage to weaken one yellow and then skewer the second like groups of yellow psions or the citadel Minotaurs). I can make 8 orbs, but the situations for me to do so are awkward. The main thing I'm not really understanding here is why keyhole doesn't apply equal damage to all skewered yellows? That in itself would make this piece for me entirely. Again though, I appreciate the tips on how the exotic could be used and it feels a little nicer now that I've given it a few good 20 major kills It also certainly helped when I was told the eyes light up when I ADS. which brings me to my final question... Was the perk for Celestial Nighthawk changed last minute? Initially it was believed that the piece, called "ExoTac Angel" would provide enhanced accuracy while airborn much like the Icarus perk, but over all weapons. I ask this simply due to the eyes lighting up... Why would they do that unless initially intended to trigger when I go ADS in air?
