Bump. I work, I got no time to run around the tower begging strangers to go to Trials of Osiris or Prison of Elders with me, not only this is incredibly time consuming and humiliating, it's a slap in face from Bungie who already have matchmaking engine working for strikes and weekly heroic but refuse to implement it for other stuff. Code is there, it's a simple addition. I guess I'm not going to see Etheric light any time soon because doing my own matchmaking on 3rd sites is not my idea of how this game should work. If this game is for hardcore gamers with tons of destiny-playing friends and tons of time - so be it, screw the rest of us.

You said it, "screw the rest of us". I feel like the small but vocal minority of middle school-to-college hardcore "40 hours a week" gamers run the show here. I don't understand why, either. I'm busy, I have a life and responsibilities, and I don't want to have to schedule a freaking video game session like another conference meeting or study session. I just want to kick back, have a drink, and play a good game. If Destiny doesn't want my playing time, so be it, just come out and say it so I can give up any hopes I have.

Not only that, but bungie forums are dominated by hardcore gaming douches who try to kill off any reasonable argument. Sad.

"Stop whining, get good scrub and get friends like me" In fraternities, that mindset is "stop whining, get good pledge and keep doing wall sits and lineups like me" In gangs, that mindset is "stop whining, get good and take that initiation beating like me" Just because people have found a way to make the system work doesn't mean it's a good system.

Right on. :)
