how did you kill the final boss? That was the only thing my team couldnt do

It works best if you have a defender Titan. Have them spec for armor of light, and when you see the text that the boss "summons his rage", they place the bubble. Then, jump up and down in the bubble. Or, if the bubble isn't charged, or you can get a Titan, jump between two places that have enough room to use your jump to the end.

that was our problem. We all went in on our 33s, which happened to be all hunters. My friend decided to change to his titan, but he couldnt join back

If you wipe and go to the airlock, you can apparently invite people there.
