We have beaten Prison of Elders level 34!
So after about an hour of endless fighting, and countless wipes (about 7) A team of 2 level 33 guardians and I triumphed over Urrox in the Prison of Elders! We were overjoyed! As we were summoned back to the airlock, we discussed what we hoped to upgrade (We had no idea what to upgrade) So we delved further below to find the treasure room. From it, we received weapon cores, Etheric light, strange coins, and motes of light. One member received the Queens Guard scout rifle. Another, The Armamentorium. I received Her Right Hand with superb perks. (Focus fire and glass half full) When we made it back to the Reef, we each received Wolfslayer's Claw, a 365 damage auto rifle. So one member upgraded his boots. The other upgraded his chestplate (It looks fabulous) and I upgraded my Fatebringer. I am in no particular hurry to make it to level 34. Anybody else pull through the darkness, beating PoE? If so, tell me what you received! (It doesn't matter what level, I just want to hear of your amazing rewards!)
Edit: So many replies! This is the most I've ever gotten! (Probably because it's my first post...)
Edit 2: I finally hit level 34! I beat 6 games in Trials so I could get the chestplate (which is at 5) and the package after it, which dropped an Etheric light!

Yep. I bought the auto rifle and saved the etheric light for upgrading my armor tomorrow to reach 34

4 RepliesAll these "I'm in no hurry" posts are stupid. Being 34 doesn't trivialize the other new missions (in the way that overleveling usually does in other games) because of how destiny scales, and it lets you do the 35, which gets you more etheric light and the materials for a random roll. You can be at the max level AND upgrade a fatebringer, AND get another random chance for the additional weapon/armor core, AND play a fun and challenging piece of content you would otherwise be kind of screwed by. There's no downside.

Congrats. Urrox isnt bad once you know what to do. I think we killed him in 30 min with no experience, having a titan helped. Now i wikl tell you, lvl 35 prison of elders is ridiculous. All areas were tough but round 4 stopped us from going any further. Def get to lvl 34 before attempting so you dont waste your time

3 RepliesI got the hand canon Her Mercy with a bad roll and a weapon core that I haven't used, I'm not convinced of the Wolfslaoyer Claw yet.... It took our fire team around an hour to go through level 34, we had a few wipes each round but we pulled through, we loved it and we have good players in the team that can adapt fast to the challenges (2 titans and 1 hunter [me])

2 RepliesEdited by gen Doylee: 5/21/2015 9:55:29 PMDid it yesterday with 2 Hunters and a Warlock, me being the Warlock in question, all lv 33. Took us so many tries to get the hang of it. Suffice to say, we all had Gjallarhorn, Black Hammer and Abyss Defiant. We were somewhat prepared :D

8 RepliesEdited by SnareDrummer1102: 5/21/2015 6:40:56 PMA bud and I 2-manned the level 35 Prison on Tuesday night. We made it all the way to Scolas or Round 6 or whatever you want to call it. Sleep got the better of us though and did not finish Scolas. (We beat it Wednesday with a full team lol incredibly easy though)
