The variety in beating the two guns is so abundant you can't really complain. Vex, red death, Suros/Mida from range, any legendary shotgun (primary), vestian dynasty (which everybody gets so no excuse), NLB (if you want), blink, should charge, strangers rifle, Hawkmoon (on ps4). Not to mention special weapons which can out gun both at any range (snipers) or decent range (felwinters). And special vs thorn is not a bad trade off. The excuse that it's a special makes little sense given that some specials are worse than primaries. If you have it, use it then. Thorn can kill in 2 headshots, if hit first- you should lose because he has surprise. A fair fight will trade off (normally). If he was losing, then either he's amazing to pull of 2 headshots in such a short time, or you were too slow, or he was simply lucky. TLW may or may not be bugged- who knows. Plus they are tier 1 exotics for PvP. Thorn should be good (from grimoire [i]Dredgen Yor ruled the crucible[/i], and it's a bounty weapon). TLW will only be good in 1v1 (it's a duelling weapon...hence its strengths). Aside from that- they both such in PvE (thorn less so).

Too bad they aren't going to be nerfed. I love my Thorn and tlw, and I love all the sad children that come on here and cry about it. I can totally feel all your tears and they make me wet with happiness! Maybe someday you will learn how to counter thorn or TLW and you won't spill all your anger on this forum for us to relish your pain.

I think Thorn definitely needs to be toned down a bit, but Last Word is still fair game. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the ADS extra-damage glitch, but even then that gun only rewards a skilled hand

They are pretty ridiculous. I'd like to see the ROF on thorn nerfed like crazy. TLW is infinitely broken no matter what.

I want to start this off by saying that I am bad at crucible. I personally have used thorn in crucible a fair amount and have had it used against me even more so. I like the gun a lot and it is easy to score kills, but at the same time it makes people lazy. There gave been plenty of times where I have out gunned many Thorn users with my Devil You Know because I hit two head shots when they hits two body shots (they were going for the three body shot guaranteed kill).
