Give me a reason why Thorn shouldn't be nerfed.
Enough with the people pleading for it to be nerfed, now I'm letting the opposers do their part and come up with convincing argument against it. And you can't say anything like "You just want it to be nerfed because you suck at crucible." I want real, statistical data to back up your claim.
EDIT: I'm so happy, this is my first thread that didn't die within five minutes after posting it. Keep arguing guys, I'm gonna be famous!

It's easily beatable with red death. Negates DOT of thorn on the kill and with a faster TTK of .67sec to thorns .73sec on crit hits should we nerf red death too?

It should be nerfed asap there is no reason you should be hitting me ACROSS THE MAP with a MAGNUM/HANDCANNON. When I have a scout rifle a gun MEANT for long range but I still die in half a second because that thing can f/cking snipe

1 ReplyBecause you have to be good with hand cannons to use it. You can tell who the good Thorn users are. When I come across someone who is not very skilled at hand cannons I kill them every time. There are plenty of options to counter the Thorn. Plus Thorn is one of the few weapons that is good at countering the shotgunners.

Because it is not the only gun the kills me. The only reason you really know you were killed by Thorn, (where the aggravation comes in), is because the screen turns green. The little i do play crucible, i don't see everyone using it, i die by a good mix of guns. If you look at my grimiore, i have one and don't use it.

After finding out how impressive Red Death is against it, I say let the Thorny Thorn stay where it is. It's an earned weapon, so I honestly think if you got it, you should use it. Still have to get the skill to use it though.

Because I suck at pvp and can take a thorn user with mida tool. I dont use Thorn and dont think it should be nerfed. Nothing should get nerfed.

2 RepliesBecause Bungie has the numbers, the same numbers they use to rejigger weapons from time-to-time, and they haven't done anything about it. What that means, most likely, is that it is not an outlier. If you want the actual numbers, you'll have to talk to them.

I'd say mytho is more op. I've just got it and you just fire in a general area and they're instantly killed. Mines not even upgraded either. If you miss any shot with thorn at mid range you're dead most of the time
