1 ReplyFirst off I would like to say WELCOME!!! But when it comes to answering your question, I have no Idea °~°

FYI, a stat's effect tips out at a total of 270, do anything above that is wasted. Also, I find that stats are somewhat secondary to other perks in general, so at least for me, I typically end up going with what I can get rather than it being a make-or-break on an item. Perhaps with reporting, I can be more picky, but still there's too many possibilities to plane too much emphasis on the stat roll.

Which ever tool you use the most play to that strength. Personally I play towards perks and abilities than I do refresh times on nades melee or supers.

Edited by q NOISETANK p: 5/18/2015 6:46:34 PMStrength and intellect since your nades come back relatively fast with energy drain and radiance. Titan I'd say strength and intellect. Hunter discipline and intellect since your melee skills can have reduced cooldowns if u run the right perks.

Voidwalker PvE Intellect/Strength (grenades aren't it's strong suit imo) PvP Intellect/Discipline (axion bolt OP) Sunsinger PvE Intellect/Discipline (fusion grenades during radiance = most damage with 1 super possible) PvP Discipline/Strength (Radiant skin with a melee charge will one hit people, so if you get ahamkara claws, use that)

Edited by x Auto Pilot x: 5/18/2015 6:48:35 PMDiscipline and intellect. Nades and supers. I like to grab gear that has the perk "Grenade damage reduces the melee cooldown" as well since with high discipline you can constantly be spamming nades.

Edited by yanoebyte: 5/18/2015 6:48:08 PMDoesnt really matter just get to 32 first. Then focus on Intellect first, then Discipline or Strength. There are perks on armors that can compensate for both. Welcome and enjoy the game.

Intellect discipline sunsinger (more discipline) and for void walker max intellect, followed by discipline with some strength (for soul rip melee)
-
Warlock int/disc Hunter int/str Titan int/option
-
Generally intellect and discipline are the best for all classes, although for Titan Defender Strength is the way to go...
-
I personally go for intellect and discipline only on all classes. Don't care too much about strength but that just me.

Edited by Jesus Christ: 5/18/2015 6:08:07 PMSunsinger Warlocks are typically best to focus on discipline and strength as these are the subclasses strengths. Voidwalker you want to focus on intellect and Discipline.

3 RepliesWelcome! Max out int, then get discipline as high as you can. Strength for all classes is next to useless in both PvP and PvE
-
1 ReplySunsinger= discipline for spamming grenades and strength for flame shield Voidealker= Intellect so you can spam Novabomb
-
12 RepliesDoesn't really make a difference to gameplay at all.
-
How do you misspell Strength and Intellect twice? Once is a typo. Twice, well...use your imagination.
-
1 ReplyNo matter what go with Discipline and Intellect.

1 ReplyIt depends: Are you a Sunsinger or a Voidwalker? Sunsingers are usually more focused on Discipline and Intellect. The higher the Discipline, the more useful the super is. The higher the intellect, the more times you'll get a super. Voidwalkers are more focused on Discipline and Strength. The Voidwalker super isn't really needed as much as the Sunsinger's, so focusing more on grenades and melees are better. Overall, the one thing that Warlocks usually need higher is Discipline. Intellect and strength are nice, but Discipline is more useful overall.

Personal preference.

My personal preference with a warlock is both int and dis More nades and more super.
-
Discipline then intellect

All of them.

Edited by jordanmckell: 5/18/2015 5:00:20 PMFor me it really depends on which piece of exotic armor I'm using at the time. I try to magnify the effectiveness of its unique perk by tailoring my stats to take advantage of it more often. If you're new you won't be able to do that yet, but as you acquire more armor over time you can swap them in and out as needed. For instance: Obsidian mind- max out intellect for more nova bombs Heart of praxic- spec to double grenade and max out discipline Claws- max out strength regardless of sub class Etc... If the exotic piece has a more general approach, I tend to prioritize intellect and maybe balance the other two afterwards. But really it just depends on what you enjoy. Most people love having a lot of supers, but I have no doubt there are warlock out there who have max strength and love running around punching things. I say do whatever is fun for you. Edit- I believe the cutoff for any stat is around 270, so anything after that is a waste.

Gotta adapt your stats to your play style no sense working on strength if you never melee
-
I always focus on Intellect and Discipline. Whilst I do melee, it's not that good for PvE and for a Hunter a charged melee is never a one-hit kill anyway.
