I just recently made a post on why this game would fail on console, I gave 8 reasons why I think it will. I would check it out before pulling your wallets out.

I would say FFXIV and Neverwinter are pretty big competition. Especially since they both have seen more users than ESO has on PC.

Neverwinter is mediocre at best and has been around longer.

Over 1 million active users is not a mediocre task. The most ESO is even seeing on PC atm is 720,000

That's not that much. Considering it's also very pay to win it sucks. Don't hate on ESO when it's not even reached its full potential compared to a mediocre MMO that's been out for a year or two.

Do your homework. Never winter has been out since 2013. FFXIV has been out since 2012.

No your point is not. You simply called Neverwinter a mediocre game without any valid reason, because it's PTW? If that's the case then SWTOR and Tera (4 million active subscribers) are mediocre. ESO was an unfinished product and still is! Once Elder Scrolls 6 comes out (probably two more years) then ESO will be done with. FFXIV and Neverwinter will continue growing and have expansions to come.

Your original argument was ESO has no competition on console... FFXIV has over 4 million registered users, Neverwinter has over 1 million, both on console. SWTOR, PC if you read, has over 1.7 million registered users and Tera has over 4 million. Even with ESO as a B2P game, it can't even manage to break 900k users. I imagine the same will be said on console... It's a busted game.

The only issue with Neverwinter is its laggy as hell. I enjoy it but I get disconnected from servers all the time or the game freezes up and when it comes back in dead. Also, I'm not a big fan of the crafting/professions. ESO did have problems when it first can out but it looks to have solved a majority. I'm waiting to make a full judgement after its console release. If the servers hold up better than Neverwinter then it will most likely be replacing it for me.

I think you might be surprised how well it will do on consoles. There's very little good competition in the genre right now on current gen consoles so it could sell very well. Also, with no sub fees it's not a bad choice for a game to play.

Well even then the Xbox has Neverwinter which I hear is doing really well, and then FFXIV on PS4.

I wouldn't trust Bethesda to pull off online play with consoles. Have you played their console games before? I love them, but the glitchy movements and freezeups make me think that an online title would be a disaster for them. Fallout games are nearly unplayable after awhile.
