The Most Efficient Way to Farm Keys
I'm not going to lie in the title of the videos I post with things like "Treasure Key Duplicate Glitch" Thats just not true as you find out when you watch those videos. But This video is pretty much me explaining why if you want to farm hard Venus is the way to go. Thanks and leave feedback on the video please
EDIT: Okay I understand there are spots you can get on Skywatch where you can get a chest maybe 4 or 5 times guys, the same goes for venus if you know anticipate the spawns, but I am talking about Efficiency here...the Efficiency of the Venus runs are higher, because of the down time on skywatch runs area bit longer.

4 Repliesguess I am just not very good at the game. been to Sky Watch and the moon, chest's I have found you need key to open. I can not find the dang key, when I do get a timer it runs out. Am I looking for a chest with a key in it?

2 RepliesAll these methods about farming chests all for engrams and keys, is there any point? The best possible methods for "chests per hour" simply for the chance to get keys. I mean seriously, the keys say they open the PoE. That's great and all, but we don't know yet how else you can come across them. Can you simply buy them from Variks for motes or glimmer? We don't know. All of this time and energy to do farm a particular item in game and we don't know how rare they will actually be, nor do we know how useful they will actually be. So, again, is there any point?

15 RepliesIf you go to an area where it says you have to to turn back or die, wait there until the last second, turn back. It counts as having gone to a new area. I got 9 chests on the moon in one iteration tonight.

Skywatch is only the best with 3 or less people. Anymore and you should go venus. Have one person stay in citadel and the rest go up to caves. Onces the caves wolves are beaten and chests looted you can run to citadel which will have spawned. Have people periodically switch in citadel. The reason for having the person is citadel is to trigger the wolf spawn for the othet players to come get. 100+ chests an hour when perfected.

Skywatch has that mini war between fallen and hive that pays out a ton of glimmer when seeds/wax are used. When the chest spawns on the roof, sometimes you get it twice, sometimes you get it 3 times. That is the worst spawn in Skywatch. The middle spots (truck and building) are guaranteed 3 and possibly 4 if someone is faster than me by a little bit. The fence spawn is 4 minimum, 5 if fast. Skywatch is also the popular location, which means more serious farmers to help down the wolfs. People doing their bounties for the first time do not suck or anything, but someone who is on his 50th run gets it done faster. Skywatch is just overall the better farming spot.

the confusion is when people put it in terms of events, as in "I get 5 chest hits each event ergo skywatch is better." The problem with that is since you don't have to wait AT all for the events to start on Venus if the rotation is synced up, you're getting more chests per hour, but less chests per EVENT. So good for you for pulling 6 chests on skywatch, I'll go with the more total chests per hour :)

17 RepliesAs a courtesy to others, please wait for other guardians to find the chest before running off to glitch it. Yes, I know it is a terribly unselfish thing to do and could very likely cost you one glitch run, but it is the right thing to do.

2 RepliesVenus is definitely more efficient if you hit the spawns right. Only reason I switched to Earth was I need to see a new mat after collecting 900+ spirit bloom. Spin metal was a nice change despite more down time... (Also those wolves+urzok+event fights are a crap load of fun.)

4 RepliesWell the most efficient way my friends and me found is to boot up the vault of glass, and have 3 people in ember caves and 3 people in citadel. Each team calls when the wolves are in their area. Seriously the event is stupid easy with 6 people killing everything. And that's not including randoms you find

Venus is better while its in sync (caves then citadel). But when they go out of sync you will spend more time waiting then at the skywatch. If you are lucky at Venus, you can get 3 runs at the chest. In skywatch, you are almost guaranteed 3 runs at the chest and if you get the fence chest and the wolves drop nearby you can get 5 runs at it.

2 RepliesOn the moon farming keys on the beginning of day 5. Killed the wolves with 4 randoms, but nobody could find the chest. I spotted it with 40 seconds left. I waved, but fellow guardians didn't get it. So instead of making one more run at the chest I called for their attention with a nova bomb and dancing. They got there finally with 3 sec to go. Guess what...all 4 got a key and I didn't. And no one even waved at me! I hate you all guardians!!!!!
