1.2 Patch Notes Misleading. FIXED
Ok. A lot of people are confused about certain parts of the 1.2 Update. Rightly so in my opinion.
It clearly states under the 1.2 section, that The Speaker 'can now' exchange materials as well as Xûr, and addresses changes to Vendor Packages.
These are currently not available, according to DeeJ these changes will go live with 1.2.0.1 on Tuesday.
People have every right to be confused, as the Patch Notes suggest these changes should be Live now, as they were included in the same section as Updates that are live. Weapon fixes etc.
I feel like, in its current state, the Patch Notes are misleading, and the information regarding the Speaker etc. should be moved down to the 1.2.0.1 section to avoid further complaint / confusion.
EDIT: Just to clear things up. The ONLY thing that I feel confused/mislead by is the Patch Notes themselves. Nothing else. Yes, DeeJ has since said that the things I said would come out on the 19th. I said this in my original post. That's not what confused me. All that confused me was the layout of the Notes themselves, namely the inclusion of several 'Tower' fixes, under 1.2 that are not going live until 1.2.0.1. What confused me was that they were included in 1.2 alongside other things that have gone live, when really they should have been written under the 1.2.0.1 section.
EDIT 2: To all the people who had a go at this post or me, etc. The Patch Notes have now been edited in the way I said they should. The things I mentioned have been moved to 1.2.0.1. So clearly, it was an issue that confused a lot of people.
EDIT 3: Just further clarification, Bungie tweeted that the Patch Notes have been adjusted to accurately reflect the roll out.

1 ReplyI agree, also you can trade in commendations for reputation, which is listed under that section, so that leads you to believe the rest of that stuff should be available. I was a bit surprised seeing the vendors still want commendations for armor/weapons.
